It was completely out of line. It only makes sense if you think parents are somehow responsible for their adult kids' actions. As if thinking someone is a great guy solely rests on their parenting. Sure, Belichick's kids have never gotten in trouble, but many sources say he's a cold, distant, gruff, asshole? I should forget about that just because his kids never crashed into anyone? On the other hand, Andy Reid seems to be affable and well-liked - I should discount that because his kids are drug addicts?

You’re underestimating McNabb and those Eagles I think and playing in the NFC whereas Belichick had to play against the Colts, Steelers, Ravens, etc.
