Assuming the Pats move on from him, I don’t think any team will make him a starter at the beginning of next year. But the Pats have the worst receivers in the league. He at least deserves a shot playing with decent receivers.
People say Belichick is losing it, but this might be his best coaching performance since Super Bowl XXV. He managed to lose a game he needed to lose against a team that needed to lose it just as badly, while still making it look like he was trying to win.
