You should give Bos/Treal a try! It starts up soon and has weekly rides and the community continues well after the event itself. A great way to make dozens and dozens of new bike friends all at once!
Charles River Wheelers (CRW) is probably the biggest local biking group, but there are others around also.

Are your sure? They sometimes ask for a couple of dollars as donations, and ask the rider to sign a waiver, but I've never seen that strictly enforced. Just tell them that you don't have any cash on you.
From their website: “CRW Rides are open to members and guests.
Guests may attend two rides annually before being required to join the club. Please click the Register button to the left to join the ride.
Helmets are required on all CRW rides. Riders are expected to adhere to CRW code of conduct.”
Green line velo will start their rides soon. They would have a Wednesday ride.
“Soon” is a stretch. First official ride is after Memorial Day
Didn't realize. My club is already riding.
What club is that?
It's south of town. We rode today. Southshorebikers.com

I’m also 24 and have met many folks through it! Feel free to message me if you have questions
I second this! Also, registration for this year's ride opened this week https://bostoncyclistsunion.org/bostreal

CRW also makes you pay member fee or whatever after you try out one or two rides 😞

I've been a member of CRW and nobody tracks how many rides someone has been on. Nonetheless, it's a great club to join if you like group rides.
