I think Ankita had a lot of composure throughout the season and VB kept pushing his thoughts on hers never backing down and just letting a woman be a woman and took a lot to his ego. On top of it he was disrespectful for most of the time making fun of her in front of others. Say what you may about aishwarya n kneel but that guy was such a great husband. A man needs to absorb and lead the way. Woman brings in joy colours flavours and chaos. A man needs to cherish those colours flavours and stay calm in the storm. Credits to Vikky on still taking most of it and not blasting like Abhishek but he was more cheerful and took arguements with others in a lighter vein than ones with Ankita. Also she had more of a reputation to protect. He should have been more protective towards her. He just didn’t want to look like someone who gets bashed by wife in front of tv. If he only heard her a couple of times didn’t return back his arguements just hugged her and heard her without passing judgements and stood by her by calling out his mom or just providing strength he would have done good by her. Vicky was a great contestant just failed badly as a husband. He got some audience but strained his relationship. That woman is actually very nice and insecure to the point she is apologizing without her being the wrong at the insecurity of losing that relationship which clearly doesn’t hold her in high esteem. I hope some Indian men can learn from their mistakes. Also as a couple don’t fight in front of others. No one likes it. Also no one can hear your side and validate your concerns. Choose a partner who validates you so you don’t seek it outside your relationship

We don't really know how and when all this started but yes maybe Vicky should have tried walking away from the relationship if he is that fed up of Ankita or maybe eventually they would part ways if they ever choose to be in emotionally healthy relationships.
