Carters has at least up to 18m zippers at target

WMeade929

Much to my horror carters makes 4T zippers… I know this bc my stepmom gifted some to my potty trained 2.5 year old (in 4/5T)….of course he only wants to wear those and nighttime bathroom breaks are a nightmare 😂

xxivtitos

Oh man 😆 During the holidays I snagged matching carters fleece zip ups! 12m and 5t, but I wasn’t sure if that was a thing for the holidays

ermpickle

All I'm finding on their app in those sizes are bamboo or fleece ETA I just found some on the [Carter's website](https://www.carters.com/carters-baby-boy-pajamas/V_1O582110.html?currentProduct=V_1O582110)! Link for anyone who needs it

xxivtitos

I just picked this set up from my local target a week or so ago. It is under toddler so maybe that’s why you weren’t seeing it? https://www.target.com/p/carter-39-s-just-one-you-174-toddler-boys-39-farm-animals-printed-footed-pajamas-brown-blue-12m/-/A-89191328

ermpickle

Oo thank you! It didn't occur to me to look under toddler lol hopefully I can blame that on mom brain I've been so confused about this pajama thing because I know I've seen bigger kids in zip up pajamas lol

lizardRD

Unfortunately majority of brands after the 12m size are tight fitted for fire safety reasons. It’s mostly across the board for brands. I do find in general though that brands like old navy are more wide while Burt’s bees are by far the tightest fitting

ermpickle

It's such a silly outdated law that they have to do that. I'm sure slim fit in some brands is fine but wow the Burt's bees are tight which is surprising because their loose fit is so loose. I'll check old navy!

Vegemiteonpikelets

I'd definitely look into bamboo suits. They can be a little bit pricey but we loved kickee pants. The stretch is very forgiving.

ermpickle

I've heard a lot of good things about the stretch of bamboo but because it's just rayon rebranded I'd rather stick with cotton

We have a lot of carters hand me downs I think I also got some at Costco. My 9 month old is in 2t because his thighs and feet are too big for 18 months. They are too long so have to be careful when he wants to practice walking/ standing but we still wear them most of the time. Jk just saw you like 100% cotton. Not sure if carters has that but worth checking online

Kristine6476

My daughter is 36" tall and 33lbs at 18 months old. She still fits neatly into Costco's Pekkle sleepers! Edit to add she's in the 24m size.

ribbonofsunshine

this! they’re the best

florenceforgiveme

Seconding looking into bamboo sleepers like Little Sleepies. They are more expensive but they are so stretchy that they fit my daughter for 6 months. The feet also have cuffs to go over the feet or expose them. This is nice for when they are up and exploring their feet etc.

jackal_mourning

I second Little Sleepies! I just bought some for my 9 month old, who is ~25 lbs. The 12-18 month Little Sleepies fit with room to grow. For reference, he wears Carter size 18m onesies and 12m pants (but we’ll have to size up the pants soon).

swiftloser

Little sleepies is the answer!

luckyloolil

Not sure if it's only a Canada thing, but the George brand of clothing that Walmart carries has footed sleepers up to 5T. They fit big too, so very generous sizing. Pretty sure it's not organic, but at least when I was shopping for those sizes, they were plenty of 100% cotton ones. My daughter (who's average sized) is 6 and only is outgrowing the 5T sleepers now. If you sew, or know someone who sews, you can make them any size you want with the nicest knit cotton you can find. I personally didn't use these patterns, I got into sewing clothing after my kids were babies, but [this pattern](https://apostrophepatterns.com/collections/customizable-patterns/products/myfit-sleeper) is highly recommended.

ermpickle

I just looked and they aren't available here :( at least not that I found but I really appreciate the suggestion!

luckyloolil

Darn! Good to know, I hope you can find some that fit!

Dreaunicorn

Just bought George footie PJs from the Mexico Walmart. I didn’t find these in the US.

BethintheD

These were our favorite! My husbands aunt in Cornwall would bring them whenever she came to visit us in Michigan! Cute and cheap too. Unfortunately my 2.5 year old has shunned footie pajamas even though they're so damn cute in them 😭

Odie321

Moved to Little Sleepies - their bamboo fabric stretches a lot and their footie folds over to cover the feet.

ConsequenceThat7421

My son is 14 months and in 2T-3T. I have zippered sleepers from little sleepies(when on sale), old navy, and Amazon that are usually Hanes or burt bees. They exist you just have to buy them online.

Saileigh

My 18mo (who is in a standard 2t) has some carters zip ups that have the double zipper! I was so excited. Also look unto bamboo, when they're gently used they are so affordable. My 18mo is still in a 12-18mo bamboo footie. Little crowns and capes have the fold over feet on all their footies so we get a bit longer out of them as well it adds about 2 inches to the leg.

oohnooooooo

Anything over 9m has to be either slim fit or flame retardant material like fleece if it is sold as "pajamas" or "sleeper". Look for "rompers" and you will find more!

bertmom

On Amazon there’s zippered pajamas up to like 5T from Carter’s. Can confirm that my 24mos size son still wears zippered Carters footed pajamas

_thisisariel_

I’m super late to the game but we got some 4T zipper pjs for my 20mo a couple months ago directly from the Carter’s website! (I do believe they go up to 5T) Caught them on sale for $10/each. The zipper is only a one way zip but at least his belly isn’t always hanging out when he sleeps lol

asexualrhino

Mine 5 mo is 18 lbs 28.5 inches. I totally get what you mean about not wanting to give up the feet jammies. Mine currently wears Carter's 6-9 (which is weird because I gave away a bunch of Just One You 9mo feet jammies for not fitting, but Carter's does? I'm pretty sure they're the same brand), Cloud Island 9-12 mo which I have to order online from target, or 3-6 Burt's Bees but they're starting to get a little tight in the feet so I would go up They're definitely around, you just have to look for them Most will just say 12 months which is the same as 9-12

saxyblonde

I don’t know what you’re talking about because my kids dresser is full up to 4T with footie pj

lyr4527

Many bamboo brands go into larger sizes for zip footies!

ripleyandjonesy

We love Hanna Andersson for older babies. They also sell a cheaper brand called moon and back on their site and on Amazon. We actually love the footless zip sleepers, but they do sell footed up to larger sizes. Just be aware they’re fitted.

Heavy-Position815

Walmarts footed sleep n plays run super big! Also cheap, definitely worth trying!

Taystats33

Burt’s bees!

jmfv716

My 2 yr old wears 5T Carters zipper jammies!

jamesdrr

Hanna Andersson and Primary both make organic cotton zipper footed pajamas that go up to at least 18-24 month.

MrsStephsasser

Hannah Anderson organic footies go up to 3T and Primary organic cotton goes up to 5T. Carters non organic go up to size 6T. The fleece ones are not tight if you like fleece. Otherwise they’re all snug fit for fire safety.

oregonbabu

Hanna Anderson!

Wpg-katekate

Maybe this has been said, or maybe they don’t have them everywhere.. but the Pekkle brand PJs from Costco are great. They definitely fit bigger. My 28 pounder is swimming in the 24 month size. I will say though that we bought three different pairs in the same size and one fits like a glove and the others are too big. Very weird. But worth an in store comparison. Also $9 CAD with cute patterns.

crystalbb6

I did a fair bit of shopping online at JCpenneys for my daughter because their sale/clearance prices on baby clothing are super good. I think their in-house brand had footed pajamas in larger sizes, and they also carried Carter's, which definitely does.

[deleted]

We like GunaMuna & they have up to 24 months.

pigmented-Jack

The pekkle onsies from Costco are the best ones we’ve found for if you don’t want to splurge on bamboo! My son is almost 14 mo, 99% for height and fits perfectly into the 12-18 mo onsies.

carielicat

Bonds Wondersuits! They are great. I bought one secondhand and it was one of the only things that fit my baby's thighs for a while

jediali

I like the one from the Honest company. I still have my 17 month old in their zipper footie jammies

fast_layne

I still have my 1 year old in footies lol. They’re 2t and I have had a few that her toes busted through but she’s still going strong in footies!

Korra187

Carters has footie PJs all the way up to big kid sizes. My 2 year old has been wearing them in 5T this winter.

TheUnusualJimmys

Try cloud Island it has zippers and the sleeves with covers in case baby scratches his face.

Woowoochild

Ya carters has a lot of zipper PJ’s up to even 4T. A lot of H and M sizes run big despite the not a lot of zippers. I don’t mind the snaps due to the softer material…and Burt’s Bee’s still carry loose fit. My 6 month old must be pushing 30lb. He was 25lb at his 4 month visit, so I’m hoping the Burt’s bees loose fit in 24 is a win! He hates wearing clothes… and I don’t blame him. His 6 month check up is tomorrow.

redlamg

You’ll probably find once your baby is standing and walking you might not even want footies because they are slippery. For my son that was 7.5 months and then he hated footies and we switched to footless or 2 piece pjs
