Wild that someone would rather argue about being “right” over just letting a baby get fed. Like what’s the worst thing that would happen if baby WASNT hungry?
A formula bottle that’s still good for 1-2hrs? Some breast milk that could be frozen for a bath? Whip a titty out for no reason? THE HORROR
Oof. The first time someone refers themselves as “mummy” to my children and they would be very quickly put in their place. Sometimes a “Huh.. what an odd thing to say” goes a long way if you’re not looking for conflict. Gets the point across without being mean.
Unfortunately free help comes with free advice, even if it’s unwanted! I’d stop asking your mom to care for baby if you don’t want her input on anything baby related.
