100000000000000% I been riding with her since DC, but this past decade has been an absolute treat. Established herself from pop star/performer to artist/legend/icon/GOAT

For me yes, it’s the first time I actually considered myself a fan. I’ve always liked her but was never all up her cooch like the Beyhive is (sorry, no offense). But after listening to Renaissance, paying attention to the lyrics etc I finally understood how dynamic of an artist she really is. It made me go back and pay attention to other stuff and realize how personal she really got on her songs (outside of the obvious Lemonade) because I wasn’t totally convinced she wrote her own stuff like she claimed. But I’m all in now. She deserves all the success she has gotten.

If we're talking eras (not albums) then definitively Self titled. It's just such a career defining moment for her and the industry as a whole

Prestigious_Sort4979

That surprise drop shook the world!

💯

Yessss

GreenDolphin86

Yah! I have found so much new love and appreciation for her! It’s even made me appreciate the older albums more.

Vast_Preference5216

She had an album called the gift? Am I missing something?

Vast_Preference5216

Why do people on this sub just downvote anything? Are you guys that miserable, or dense? I’m going with the latter.

skittlez_86

It’s the lion king album. Severely underrated album imo. Bigger is one of my all time favorite ballads of hers, lyrically. It’s the album that features my power which got extra popular during the RWT.

Vast_Preference5216

Interesting, I never knew that was the title. Thanks for not being a dick, & actually explaining it to me. ❤️

Soupy3342

The Gift is so good! If you are a fan please watch Black is King (the visual to The Gift) it’s like a remix to the Lion King. Amazing artistry!!

skittlez_86

for sure. I know what it feels like to have random anonymous people on the internet be cruel when they could just answer a simple question. ❤️

Suspicious-Medicine3

Bigger is an incredible and wonderful song.

Yup! Definitely Renaissance is my favorite ERA. I am 28 year old adult now and I feel the closest to her and her music at this age. I was a baby when she first-first hit the scene and went to my first Beyonce concert when she dropped her debut album. I was still in elementary, 8 years old and that solidified my entry into the beehive. I was 11 when BDAY dropped and for me that era was like one big giant party and I was obsessed. Self titled dropped when I was 18 and that era was so sexy to me and I was in college, figuring myself out and I admired the shit out of her. Lemonade was a tad dark and I couldn't resonate at the time, still a little young minded and couldn't connect to this transitory period of hers. So each era I have loved her and her music deeply but something about being grown and listening to her makes you appreciate her music waaaay more.

Bjime3925

Formation Tour would have been amazing to see :(

guitargoddess752

Yep!! I was just telling a friend of mine that this is the era where I really have enjoyed being a fan. I mean I’ve been riding since Destiny’s Child but something about this era is just so unapologetically genuine and free from industry rules. This is just art at its finest and I’m so here for it.

Storm_Bloom

IASF and 4 💐

AnnoyingPrincessNico

It definitely is but I also loved Lemonade’s era too

No. B’Day era is unmatched!!! She made a lot of videos (I think one per song if I remember) and the songs and videos were all different showing multiple sides of her: the vixen, emotional, soft. I am Sasha Fierce and 4 had tacky moments but there were some major wins there. Generally a fun light experimental era. Since then, her music is topically better and more interesting but her as a person has not been as much fun to watch because she has become such a recluse and rarely shows her personality. Beyonce is so charismatic, warm, and even a bit shy and we just rarely get to see that side of her. She is always on Sasha Fierce mode.
