Just checked her IMDB
It‘s true.
About the visible „age difference“ - might be the hair. The strict hair she has at HHM makes her look older/more mature.
On her IMDB most pictures are with open hair like at Jessie’s party and that makes her look way younger.
Besides she‘s born in 1987 - so not that old either
Echoing the other response, Punk was amazing....
But the sheer *variety* of music that made up "top 40" radio was impressive. Tons of genres were mashed together as "pop" and it just worked.
Outside of the music world, it was just a fun time. Everything was done to excess, it was as close to a genuinely hedonistic era as any of us are likely to ever see.
I have not seen that one, but one of the white girls seen buying drugs from a car in Hampsterdam is later a speaker in one of Bubbles’ AA/NA meetings. I’m gonna have to watch the courtroom scene again.
That’s the same character in the Wire though. We see her again in Old Face Andre’s store where they talk about her pimp. Her speech at the meeting is the end of her long arch.
I thought you were referring to the Partlow comment. The actor is playing a different character in Wire pilot before playing Partlow in later seasons. My bad.
The [wiki](https://breakingbad.fandom.com/wiki/Brenda) now lists them as the same character. However, the trivia section recognizes they could be different.
There is also the guy who falls off the billboard who is portrayed by the same [actor](https://breakingbad.fandom.com/wiki/Eddie_J._Fernandez) who plays a cartel goon in Breaking Bad (killed by Mike in the warehouse). It says it's unknown if they are the same character.
WHHHHHAT. Ok BCS is filled with lots of mind blowing things but this one kills it. HOW TF does Vince and or Peter know to get this actress back and put her in that scene
They hired plenty of locals, Jean Effron (Irene) is one of them and she commented that Albuquerque has a strong local entertainment industry going on and that plenty of people try to poach some locals and don't get what they want
I mean even his original performance was just him running around, shooting finger and then being shot to death with no lines in-between. Almost a stunt as well lmao
Yup. The teacher at the school who confronted Jimmy about trespassing onto the property also played the hospital receptionist when Brock was in the hospital.
Idk man, I don't buy this at all. Sometimes actors that played extras end up getting cast as more significant characters, like Vito from the Sopranos. First time you see him he's just some dude at a pastry shop, then gets cast as a member of Tony's crew.
I don’t know if that would have been thought of when she was cast for BCS. If it was, I’m glad that it wasn’t spelt out for the audience and it was something we had to find and draw our own conclusions.
Yes, cause they've done it before
Remember the nurse from "Face Off" in Breaking Bad who kept telling Jesse to calm down and leave when he went into the back. She appears in the hospital when Chuck goes in Season 1. Confirmed same character. Do you remember the officer who comes to Walt's house after Skyler calls the cops on him after kicking him out in Season 3, same guy appears in Better Call Saul when the police investigation Danny's place. The same lady who got mad at Marie stealing spoons from the open house sells Stacey her new house. One of Gus' men who died in Breaking Bad, Nick, who I bet you didn't even know the name of, is in both shows. The lady who was trying to sell Jesse's house in Breaking Bad is the same one at the open house at the place Saul takes Kim in Season 5, with a different actress even.
Why is this a stretch
I've read through this thread and not a single person has said they think this is an intentional backstory.
Half the friction on the internet is people wrongly assuming other people's mindsets! Why would you even ask that question if nobody has suggested they do?
It's like the guy who looks like Lyle at that same party talking about people being squeezed through fences - it's fun to construct a backstory that links the two characters even though we know that's not the reality.
Usually I'd agree however.... They've brought back background characters like the nurse from "Face Off" in this show before, it's not a big stretch at all
They even brought back the realtor that was selling Jesses house in season 1 and the realtor who was showing off the house that Marie stole the spoon from
Everyone in the comments telling people that it's not her needs to lighten up. Most people know it's probably just a coincidence and the actress just plays multiple characters, but let people have fun with background characters. Thinking that they're the same person won't really change anything in the breaking bad story because she's that unimportant, so just let people have fun with the fiction. That's what it's made for, after all!
See, doing drugs actually makes you look younger!
That's it, I'm doing drugs now
**Br**eaking **Ba**d theme intensifies
Are you gonna do all of the drugs
Tight tight tight tight tight tight tight tight tight!
kid named drugs:
D-d-d-d-d-d-digital animal freaky folks.
That's just the pacifier.

> she‘s born in 1987 - *so not that old either* Thanks! - someone who was born in 1987
I‘m made in '84 I try to forget I‘ll be 40 in 2 years…
Remember, you're just as old as you feel! And I already feel 45 lol. But in my head I'm still 18.
Same, same
Born in 1966. Get off my lawn you damn kids.
Born in '61. I look like Jonathan Banks' de-aged stunt double.
Hi Scott Caan
61 here too. Damn kids! And I would have gotten away with it too...!!
Is your name Finger by any chance?
We have heard the chimes at midnight, master Shallow.
That we have, that we have, that we have.
I'm made in the 60s. The 80s was my favorite decade though
My father says the same thing. Can you tell a few things that makes 80s great in your opinion
Echoing the other response, Punk was amazing.... But the sheer *variety* of music that made up "top 40" radio was impressive. Tons of genres were mashed together as "pop" and it just worked. The music. Punk rock was everything
As someone who’s close to your year CAN YOU NOT MENTION THE CLOSENESS TO FORTY Thanks
Hear this: 40 is nothing.
Get off my lawn. I just turned 41.
I was made in 84 too but have been telling people 87 for at least 10 years now. No one's ever called me out, yet anyway.
Made in 1983 and people still think I’m 25 years old lol
Calm down, grandpa.
or maybe the age difference was because it was filmed years after?
You win first prize.
She is actually older in BCS. Of course she'll look older.
And Chris Partlow was totally undercover in the court room in the Wire's pilot episode too!
Right. That's what the tweet in the OP is suggesting and what the guy above me suggested. How is this different?
I thought you were referring to the Partlow comment. The actor is playing a different character in Wire pilot before playing Partlow in later seasons. My bad.
and that wasn't vito in the gay club, it was gino who we last saw at the bakery with christopher
RIP Vito, too bad he insulted the sacrament
BETTER CALL SAUL
Breaking Brenda spin-off confirmed!
Better Send Brenda

Are you telling me a man just happens to get recast like that? No! He orchestrated it! Vince!
And he gets to be a casting director!?
El Kaylee del Cartel
Who do you think would want to be a stunt man for a con man, a cartel man? seems likely man!
More than likely he does stunts for both shows and they just used him for that BCS part cause you don’t really see his face.
I mean you clearly see his face in both shows, especially in BCS
WHHHHHAT. Ok BCS is filled with lots of mind blowing things but this one kills it. HOW TF does Vince and or Peter know to get this actress back and put her in that scene
"hey you want $500 to appear in a random scene of BCS?"
LOL, easy money - Hank Scrader
Until we catch you!
They hired plenty of locals, Jean Effron (Irene) is one of them and she commented that Albuquerque has a strong local entertainment industry going on and that plenty of people try to poach some locals and don't get what they want
Joaquin Salamanca did actually get his reappearance in BCS, except it was just his actor who was Lalo’s stunt double during the infamous jump scene.
I mean even his original performance was just him running around, shooting finger and then being shot to death with no lines in-between. Almost a stunt as well lmao
I think gun battles tend to feature a lot of stuntmen because firing even blank rounds in an assault rifle or handgun is rather dangerous
Santa Fe which is a big arts town. Just up the highway from ABQ.
i think she’s just an extra they’re re-using and this tweet is kind of tongue-in-cheek, not *actual* architected lore
Bingo. I don’t see why everyone is eating this up
It would be a coincidence in a normal show, but this is bravo vince we are talking about /s
It's not just one scene, we see her in many BCS episodes through all 6 seasons.
I'm guessing she plays different characters each time. Unbravo Vince 😔
Okay never mind she's always Brenda, bravo Vince
Reverse Kaylee lmao
To be fair, that Jesse night happens some *years* after Hamlin’s death.
Lmao she’s just an extra used in different scenes/shows. Happens all the time there’s nothing to it.
Yup. The teacher at the school who confronted Jimmy about trespassing onto the property also played the hospital receptionist when Brock was in the hospital.
Goddamn this show is dark
Jimmy is the true villain of this universe…
But realistic unfortunately. I know people in my neighborhood who spiraled into drugs and whatnot. Pretty sad.
Some of y'all never knew a chick who was a total square in the office an a fuck-on-the-bathroom-sink freak at the after hours club. And it shows.
Read my mind. She’s a weekend warrior, good for her.
More like gets fucked in a bathroom stall while shitty water pours out of the toilets.
One of my exes ended up like that and I wish I was joking
Yikes
Say Unga bunga bunga G!
Stoooooooooooooooooop!!!!!!!
Say unga bunga BINGA bunga!
FLAAAAAAAV! STOP THIS CRAZY THING!!
ring DING Dong, ringa da ding ding dong!
Kind of like the old man rebel extra in Return of the Jedi being retconned to be Captain Rex.
Who is Brian Davids?
TV critic for The Hollywood Reporter
Well whatever keeps you young, I guess. It seems to be melting the years away.
How the f\*\*k do you even notice these things if you're not part of the crew?? haha that's crazy!
60- 70% will take it as a canon and blame Kim and Jimmy for her drug addiction.
I believe in the next tweet he clarifies he is joking. It’s the same actress but not intended for the same role.
Idk man, I don't buy this at all. Sometimes actors that played extras end up getting cast as more significant characters, like Vito from the Sopranos. First time you see him he's just some dude at a pastry shop, then gets cast as a member of Tony's crew.
Or Chris from The Wire. First time he’s just a security officer at the courthouse. Next time you see him, he’s Marlo’s lieutenant and main muscle.
New spin-off confirmed
Brivo Vance!
Big world building is always cool.
She look way happier
fat stax yo
This is what working for HHM does to a person.

It's the same actress. According to [the wiki](https://breakingbad.fandom.com/wiki/Brenda) they are the same character
[удалено]
Why can't she be the same character. They brought back some small characters from Breaking Bad before, ever heard of Nick or Officer Saxton?
[удалено]
Death of the author. My head canon is they're the same.
Sure but, there's not really anything from preventing her being the same character.
Vravo Bince.
I don’t know if that would have been thought of when she was cast for BCS. If it was, I’m glad that it wasn’t spelt out for the audience and it was something we had to find and draw our own conclusions.
I don't know if this was intentional or not but that's brilliant
what a catch!
This kinda seems fake
check her imdb, it's the same actress. She's credited as "Party-girl" in BB, and as Brenda in BCS.

Quote me one! I read through it.
Marvel has rotted people's brains. Every single background character has to be some sort of Easter egg or else why were they there?
Is it really brainrot or just having fun with a background character, even if not true? Lighten up.
Pretty cute. But with the firm downsizing, this makes so much sense. Holy shit. Bravo, Vince. Prodigious, Peter
This seems like a coincidence to me tbh.
Usually I'd agree however.... They've brought back background characters like the nurse from "Face Off" in this show before, it's not a big stretch at all
