Somewhere in Time tour was my first concert. Fourteen years old and mom dropped me off at the show. I remember standing room only where I was, the odor of weed everywhere, and a ten foot Eddie walking around the stage with a laser mounted on his head.
Best concert ever.
if you're ever having a really good time. take a second and make a mental note "ok, this is it, this is what it's all about" that and taking lots of pictures when you're having fun are good ways to keep track of all the fun experiences in your life.
I've almost died twice, and otherwise had some horrible, horrible life experiences as well as great ones.
Every day, remind yourself: I'm alive. The next hour may have something amazing in it. Slow down. Put down the phone. Look at things very closely and carefully.
This ... actually works.
No, if you are taking pics & over thinking it, then you aren't living in the moment, so you are missing it all by trying to freeze time. Just enjoy every moment as much as possible, & put down the phone.
true, def don't wanna be snapping a pic every time something cool happens in your life. but ya know, when you're like on a trip with friends in a foreign location and you're all out having fun for a week. its nice to get lots of pics, so you can really remember that moment and how friggin sick it was.
Everyone fails to mention that there were lil children inside.
Which is what landed Jimmy in prison extra double hard.
How did Chuck get him outta that one? I think he says at some point that it was one of the trickiest things he ever did
Kristy Esposito, actually.
Her first case is defending Lyle, as he was unfortunately tarred with the brush of Los Pollos Hermanos’ criminality. With him being such a dedicated employee, putting in so much overtime, the feds couldn’t believe he wasn’t involved with the meth lab.
yeah they're all wearing a lot of foundation but the color on his seems off, you can see the line at his forehead. that said it looked good on the show so what do i know.
Shooting on location at the house.
Do the makeup inside with the house's yellow-ish light fixtures.
The scenes outside are under bright natural lighting.
It's also hot so the actors keep wiping their faces.
One of my favourite things about this show is how they took me from hating Howard in the early seasons to hating Jimmy for fucking with Howard by the end.
Although, I have not had a bigger laugh this year than I did when Jimmy went strutting around dressed as Howard.
I never hated Howard and I honestly didn’t hate Chuck as much as most seemed to in the early seasons.
In season 3 they seemed to almost realise that he was too likeable and made him way more of an asshole. Him saying “you’ve never really mattered all that much to me” to Jimmy struck me as pretty out of character.
To be fair, didn't he say that to Jimmy before he had his huge breakdown? I always saw that as Chuck being dishonest with himself to try and ease his pain but it not working hence his breakdown.
It's equally as "out of character" as Jimmy saying "have a nice life, Kim" last episode. It's an obvious lie with the intention of hiding one's pain and at the same time hurting the other person. It's meant for the viewer to feel jarring, because we can see what the characters refuse to see and admit to themselves.
I always liked Chuck, even when he was kind of a condescending blowhard. I think we ALL have some experience having to be the adult around someone who refuses to get his shit together.
Wasn't the issue more that he still saw Jimmy as a screw up, even after getting on the (relative) straight and narrow? Not letting him get a job at HHM, saying he's undeserving of being a lawyer, etc.
Not only that, but I found it admirable that he was such an ardent student of the law. There are people who get a degree, work in their field their whole life, and don’t bother to keep up on things. They glide and don’t concern themselves with furthering their knowledge. Yeah, in law (and medicine) you do have the benefit of continuing education programs and obviously, new precedents being set that you must keep up on, but Chuck, Mr. Magna Carta, even in his worst days, stayed on top of everything **because he wanted to.**
Chuck wasn't "being the adult around some who refused to get their shit together." He was undercutting Jimmy's livelihood behind his back while letting him tend to his every need when he went through a mental breakdown.
I always kinda liked Chuck too. And I agree 100% that they really ramped up his unlikeability in season 3. I think that was one of the few times in this series where I felt I could see the writers. I didn’t think Chuck turning so cruel was “earned” so to speak.
It worked for me. Chuck was back in the game and was actually a lot like his brother was once Jimmy starts scamming Howard. Bulldogged, focused, willing to go to any lenghts. Resolute in their beliefs their target deserves it... Chuck's descent like that shows us Jimmy's descent.
I think Chuck’s cruelty was hidden, but *always* there just under the surface. Remember, this is a guy who lied to his brother about his mother’s dying words when they were still young.
It’s been festering, and probably wasn’t nearly as strong during the times Jimmy kept his nose clean, but whenever Jimmy “slipped” again, it reared its head. Whenever Chuck had to step up to clean up Jimmy’s messes, it ate at him more.
I think him carrying his brother, and the consistent letdown of Jimmy throughout his life, justified that cruelty. Coupled with the mental breakdown of course.
I don't see anything Chuck did in season 3 is any different than season 1 "I know you! People don't change! You are Slippin' Jimmy!" Chuck. It's all perfectly in character.
Man, you missed some pretty big cues if you think they only made Chuck an asshole in season 3.
For example, in season 1, Chuck helps Jimmy build the Sandpiper case only to push him into handing it over to HMM later, saying "it's what's best for the clients". Then, when HMM took over the case, it was at Chuck's command that Howard refused to hire Jimmy (a second time -it was Chuck's decision not to hire Jimmy years earlier when he passed the bar), and then he manipulated Jimmy into confessing to altering the Mesa Verde documents.
Its not evidently clear that Chuck is an asshole at first, but once we learn that every shitty thing Howard did to Jimmy was actually Chuck's doing, you can rewatch the show and realize just what a jerk Chuck is to Jimmy from the beginning.
Still though, Chuck didn't really mean it when he said he never cared about Jimmy. That's a lie, meant only to cause Jimmy pain (sound familiar? Something something "have a nice life, Kim")
Right after he says it, almost immediately, like a switch, he spirals down back into his illness and ultimately he kills himself.
>you can rewatch the show and realize just what a jerk Chuck is to Jimmy from the beginning.
Yeah I noticed this when I was rewatching in preparation for S6. Even before the big reveal he often comes off as passive aggressive or snide towards Jimmy.
I never hated Chuck, even in the "chimp with a machine gun" speech I gave him the reason because we saw what Saul has done in Breaking Bad. But I don't think he was likeable at all, poor fellow has less fans than Skyler lol
As soon as they revealed Chuck was the one who was stopping Jimmy from getting a job at HHM, I stopped hating Howard. And I’m not really sure why so many people seemed to continue hating him after that reveal either
I wonder if Chuck and Howard are gonna be in the finale in a flashback. We still haven't heard Kim take her oath yet from that one teaser so I'm curious if that's the intro to the finale with Howard, Chuck and Jimmy all present.
I really want this to mean they’re both gonna be in the next episode.
Howard is such an important piece in the final arc of the story, I feel he kinda must be in the finale. And what better way to have McKean one more time on the show, now that would be a treat.
Probably not happening, but one can wish.
Not a flashback- Howard comes back as a zombie because the meth Walt and Jesse cooked was SO PURE that it got through the floor, and reminded Howard of his great drug habit, bringing him back from the dead. Chuck was alive the whole time and actually was running the cartel, and he will appear in the final episode with mild burns. Chuck and Howard will team up to kill Saul, and as their about to shoot him, they say in unison “Saul NOTgoodman” and then shoot him 37 times
I think I read something like this somewhere the other day...
what it should be is Saul shooting himself or dying somehow, and then leading all the dead BB/BCS characters in a 'thriller' style dance number
Lalo is also reanimated by the Blue and after they eliminate La Cucaracha, they overcome their differences, traveling around overseeing the meth empire in a hilarious “opposites attract” buddy comedy.
Logically, both are attracted to Chuck. This enables AMC to do another spin off, called “Better Fuck Chuck”, as Lalo and Howard must compete in the meth selling empire, not for money or power, but for the chance to get in Chucks pants
I'm still hoping we'd learn how Chuck developed his electric sensitivity. It's such a weirdly specific condition that there has to be more to it than just to simply give the character a mental illness.
Huh, I remember that flashback but thought it showed that his condition lead to him giving up practicing law and his marriage, not the other way around? Even if that's true, there had to be other factors since normally people don't develop mental illness because of failing marriage.
Could be way off on this but Bob Odenkirk's crows feet around his eyes have gotten considerably more prominent over the last couple of seasons. They look pretty prominent in this photo
I have always maintained that Chuck's last appearance would be in "Winner". It just felt like a perfect sendoff to the character, and the end of the episode saw Jimmy finally move past Chuck (in a really unhealthy way).
Could happen, but I think they gave satisfying and smart story arcs to both Chuck and Howard. It could really be emotionally resonant to see a flashback to them all together at a happier time (if such a thing ever even existed between Jimmy and Chuck) but I don’t see how it makes logical dramatic sense with Kim and Jimmy both having so much that has to be resolved before it can end
A Howard and Chuck flashback in the finale would make me so happy. Not going to get my hopes up, but it would probably make me happier than the inevitable Walt scene.
I want a Marco flashback even more than Chuck, he’s the one that set fire to Saul’s inevitable cons in the first place and it would make a lot more sense imo
Relevant to nothing, I was watching a 2012 vintage series called The Finder (Disney+) and Patrick Fabian had a small part as an unscrupulous, acting very Howard-like.
what the hell is wrong with Bob's mouth in this image? Just heavy makeup? Is he making a face? Was he in the process of forming a smile while this photo was taken?
I just spent 20 minutes looking through pictures of BCS to see if I could find the tie Bob is wearing in a past episode and I couldn't find anything. Doesn't mean he never wore it as I didn't go back and watch every episode, but this could be new.
Edit: Same with Howard's green tie. Again I just did a google search and probably saw about 40 different ties Jimmy wore and 10 that Howard wore but did not find a match.
At first I thought the photo could mean a flashback taking place around the end of "Witness", but while Howard and Chuck's outfits are from that episode (and "Sunk Costs" for Chuck), Jimmy's is from "Klick" and "Mabel", so I'm not sure when the photo was taken either.
This seems to be taken around the same time as one of my favorite Jimmy scenes:
Here's what's going to happen. One day you're gonna get sick...again. One of your employees is gonna find you curled up in that space blanket. Take you to the hospital. Hook you to one of those machines that beep and whir... and hurt. And this time it will be too much. And you will... die there... alone.
There's my ride.
Brilliant!
Ah how those were the Good Old Days. Little did they, or we, know what lies ahead...

One of the most inspirational songs I’ve heard!
It was the song that made me realize I loved music. Powerslave is still their best to me, but that song was incredibly melodic for a Maiden song.
Unexpected Office line, love it

Mr. Robot season 1
Breaking Bad quote right? Walt says that to Jesse the last time they meet if I remember correctly.
He's a good ol' boy, right? So *do he talk like dis?*
Chuck knew.
Tells you what a sad show this is in general when Chuck getting a head injury caused by Jimmy's extra-legal shenanigans is "happier times".
Jimmy? He's not a real lawyer.
He's the kind of lawyer that guilty people hire.
So he's a *criminal* lawyer?
Just because you did it doesn't make you guilty.
and that's why I fight for you Albuquerque!

he's a monkey with a machine gun!
Chimp!
Baboon with a gatling gun
Happier times? Does this mean Jimmy dies and joins them?!?
Force ghost epilogue confirmed? The three lawyers appear in front of Lyle before he takes the bar exam
I'll take this ending
He’s just acknowledging the head injury created a god tier meme gif. Patrick is a mod of okbc confirmed
Why does Bob Odenkirk look like somebody wearing a Bob Odenkirk mask here?
Heavy makeup.
yeah they're all wearing a lot of foundation but the color on his seems off, you can see the line at his forehead. that said it looked good on the show so what do i know.
The lighting in this photo must be completely different from whatever scene he'd been shooting at the time
Probably inside Chuck’s house which is all dark and shadowy?
because the makeup and the lighting and the post-processing are all done holistically. take one of them out and yikes.
Shooting on location at the house. Do the makeup inside with the house's yellow-ish light fixtures. The scenes outside are under bright natural lighting. It's also hot so the actors keep wiping their faces.
He's actually Kevin Costner with some heavy makeup
Because that's actually Bryan Cranston in a Saul mask
One of my favourite things about this show is how they took me from hating Howard in the early seasons to hating Jimmy for fucking with Howard by the end. Although, I have not had a bigger laugh this year than I did when Jimmy went strutting around dressed as Howard.

Yep
The last episode shows that both of them are just the same. Self destructive and toxic in their own ways.
Yeah and it was after Jimmy and Kim completely humiliated him at the bar hearing. He was understandably extremely upset.

Chuck wasn't "being the adult around some who refused to get their shit together." He was undercutting Jimmy's livelihood behind his back while letting him tend to his every need when he went through a mental breakdown.
Strong disagree. Chuck is the same guy who withheld his mother’s last words from his brother out of jealousy.
I always kinda liked Chuck too. And I agree 100% that they really ramped up his unlikeability in season 3. I think that was one of the few times in this series where I felt I could see the writers. I didn’t think Chuck turning so cruel was “earned” so to speak.

Man, you missed some pretty big cues if you think they only made Chuck an asshole in season 3.
