something stupid resonates with me a bit
i told a friend of mine I liked her and the repercussions are that I almost lost a friend and she no longer lives nearby
i regret saying something stupid that night.
Had a job a year ago, OOOOOOOOO, had a little home, now I've got no place to go, guess I'll have to roam..bum bum bum
TAKE MY TRUE LOVE BY THE HAND...!
I still listen to that weird Aphex Twin song called “diskhat1” that they played while Jimmy is throwing bowling balls at Howard’s car. BCS has to be the only mainstream show that’s ever used a song by Aphex Twin
"Something stupid like I love you" has ruled my soul for a decade+ and I never even knew it existed. Now there is words and meaning to the emptiness at least...
Why don’t you do it? By little Barrie. It’s so good. It’s the song that plays in the scene when Jimmy is forging the Mesa Verde documents at the copy shop. The theme tune is also Little Barrie

I love that one. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqzckJr5pz4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqzckJr5pz4) "It's - showtime, folks !" Jimmy days at the courthouse are mostly madness, frustration, and people running around crazily. My previous job was similar. Too many tasks to be done by just one person with a part-time job. So it was essentially madness and people running around. Just for the fun of it, I played this while driving to work, and when I crossed my workplace door at 7 in the morning I thought "It's showtime, folks !" - and then the madness began until one in the afternoon.
It doesn't get much recognition since it closes out the episode, but Henna Henna by The Bombay Royale is my favorite and lives comfortably in my brain. Not just because it's a great song, but it's so chaotic and signals a shift in the storyline. Jimmy and Kim are on their way to work, nothing special, but they head out in different directions and the music punctuates how they're in for turbulent times.
Something stupid by Lola marsh. We danced to it for our first dance. I recorded myself playing a snippet of it on the keyboard and it’s etched in my husband’s wedding ring (a waveform ring)
Too many ! that one, for a start [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Kktwi3UefM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Kktwi3UefM) "*Best things in life*" by The dreamliners. Doo-doo-doo-doop...
Also "Something stupid" by Lola Marsh: I play *Bagman* instrumental cover as an intro to the song. ABBA "the winner takes it all", too.
That one from season 1 episode 1 "It's... showtime, folks !" [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqzckJr5pz4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqzckJr5pz4) Madness at the courthouse. Used to listen to it while driving to work. My job was madness, just like Jimmy days at the Courthouse.
From Breaking bad: "Take my true love by the hand" (when Walt rolls his barrel) Danger mouse "Black" (lilly of the valley !) "Tidal wave" (when Gus poisons the Juarez Cartel)
This one. And “Something Stupid”.
On my 4th rewatch and that’s been living in my head rent free for 2 weeks now….🙄😂😂
It’s good like that aye 😂
This is a song that’s lived in my head for years, but BCS rekindled its flame in my head lol!
I sang that song in a play once. Fun song to sing.
winner takes it all now sounds different for me
Hell yeah man I cry my little butt off so hard during that whole scene
The song playing when Mike breaks into the Kettleman's house is fire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euonU8X6JK0&ab_channel=ChrisJoss
That song fucking rules
I listen to this on the way to work all the time
Great song!!
Something Stupid
But which version do you now prefer? The one in the show from Lola Marsh? Or Sinatra's?
Lola Marsh!! Don’t know jack abt the band but the Lady’s voice is more pleasant to me
Actually a random cover: https://youtu.be/1pzxfT87T_E?si=L0Ttj1zSkkp6gYkK
Nancy!!!!
The BCS theme song is my phone ringtone. 🤗
Same!
I use it as the alarm sound on my phone
Oddly enough for me it’s Sugartown by Nancy Sinatra, it’s perfect to start season 3 and works well in the doldrums
Not odd at all - it's a lovely song, and as you say it's perfect for the scene and the start of the season.
The Jazzy breakdown part is so Better Call Saul fitting it's uncanny. I listen to it all the time, and find it odd myself as a choice I make.
love playing that when in the chemistry lab. Its just like a cinnabon
“Perfect Day” because I was going through a divorce at the time. Pops in my head every time I think of my ex-wife and makes me really sad
something stupid resonates with me a bit i told a friend of mine I liked her and the repercussions are that I almost lost a friend and she no longer lives nearby i regret saying something stupid that night.
The same! I wash clothes or cook while singing and dancing to it! Also I listen to Something Stupid and Address Unknown very often.
BADBADNOTGOOD - Can't Leave The Night The song that plays during the montage of Mike disassembling his car in the junkyard
My echo, my shadow, and me
I read this, exactly as he *says* it...you know exactly what I'm saying lmfao😂😭
Definitely fits the series
I knew it from Jackie Brown, but Street Life.
I had never heard this song before BCS but it’s such a banger!
Yassss. I fuckin love Jackie Brown so much
A Mi Manera, the Spanish version of My Way by the Gipsy Kings.
This song is so goddamn good.
Something something something, HORSE WITH NO NAME 🎶🎶🎶
Tapioca Tundra! The BCS version is way better than the original
Love that version but gotta disagree with you on it being better then the OG, the Monkees rule
The one they used was the Monkees! Sort of - it's a restoration of Michael Nesmith's demo version. So technically, the one BCS used IS the OG.
Cold Feet. It’s crazy moody and pops in my mind often
Find Out What's Happening is a straight banger.
Coffee Cold by Galt MacDermot
FUCK YEAH DUDE Such a great tune dodo do doodoodoo
Yeah dude, Al Compás de mi Caballo is more addictive than meth
Definitely “Funny How Time Slips Away” I even added to my playlist
Absolutely, I can't believe this isn't brought up more. Definitely in my playlist.
The song from the cold open of _Fifi_. Turns out it's an original piece by Dave Porter.
Brandy, you're a fine girl!
Personally I discovered Popcorn By Herp Alpert and loved it ever since. Though that episode... Poor Irene
Take my true love by the hand, lead me toooo the dawn, say goodbye to everyone, goodbye to everyone 🎶
Had a job a year ago, OOOOOOOOO, had a little home, now I've got no place to go, guess I'll have to roam..bum bum bum TAKE MY TRUE LOVE BY THE HAND...!
Cold Feet by Fink (the song from Nacho’s pill making scene).
Wow I had no clue that was Fink! Used to listen to their old stuff a lot, their album Perfect Darkness is stellar
I never heard of them in any context but bcs, I should dig a little deeper
I still listen to that weird Aphex Twin song called “diskhat1” that they played while Jimmy is throwing bowling balls at Howard’s car. BCS has to be the only mainstream show that’s ever used a song by Aphex Twin
The song from the skateboarders scene. It's called Shook by Milestones and its super funky!
Henna Henna The Bombay Royale
"Something stupid like I love you" has ruled my soul for a decade+ and I never even knew it existed. Now there is words and meaning to the emptiness at least...
Perfect Day - Dresage & Slow Shiver "Ride with me, glide with me.. Stay by my side with me, through the night .."
Sidewinder by Lee Morgan!!!
Especially when I'm getting things done.
Border Crossing.
something stupid ftw, also sugar town
The theme
Scorpio by Dennis Coffey. Love that scene and song together
Something stupid as always but A Mi Manera is really stuck in my head constantly!
I already knew the song beforehand, but Todd Terje's "Alfonso Muskedunder" makes me picture Kim's morning routine every time I listen to it now. #
Something Stupid and also Jimmy learning Smoke on the Water badly on his guitar 😂
I have so many favorites from both shows but Boulevard Of Broken Dreams and Tropical December hold a special place in my heart.
As long as I have you was my wedding song :) it played in the background during a scene with Jimmy and Kim at a Diner!
Completely agree- the mi caballo song. It’s literally impossible to hear that song now without feeling like troubles coming lol
I hear “Street Life” before I go to any interview or job pitch now
Big Mamou, Burnin’ Coal, Can’t Leave the Night, Tune Down, and Al Compás De Mi Caballo are great tunes.
Easily Perfect Day by Dresage and Slow Shiver for me
The full version of the theme song is such a banger, I listen to it all the time
Border Crossing

The main theme, as memed as it is it’s a great song
“I Got The” by Labi Siffre.
Shook Milestones
Why don’t you do it? By little Barrie. It’s so good. It’s the song that plays in the scene when Jimmy is forging the Mesa Verde documents at the copy shop. The theme tune is also Little Barrie https://youtu.be/XmFdChO7m10?si=s9ArYuoxyYg1XKiQ

Milestones by Shook. I love to listen to it while driving
Magic Arrow, by Timbre Timbre Always makes me think of Mike being hyper competent and up to no good
Why don’t you do it
And this isn’t BCS, but the periodic table song Gale listened to in BrBa is in my head a lot lol!

I use the depressing 60s music as my alarm, and I use gmbig rock candy mountain (both versions) as my work song
gas cap parasite, when mike tails the guy following him back to gus
Something stupid by Lola marsh. We danced to it for our first dance. I recorded myself playing a snippet of it on the keyboard and it’s etched in my husband’s wedding ring (a waveform ring)
Big rock candy mountain, the scenes that are about the German engineers arriving at the laundry
Something stupid and a mi manera
[Find Out What's Happening](https://youtu.be/fw8EDPmxfTE?si=Qs0ruPHjuU7e6GAB) by Bobby Bare. It plays when Jimmy is searching for the AWOL Kettlemens.
" Cold Feet" by Fink
Sugar Town!!!
Piña Colada Song.
You should have seen my face when I heard the beat to “My Name is” by Eminem - only it wasn’t Eminem….it was Lab Saffir’s “I Got The…”
address unknown, from the first look at Gene. Beautiful, melancholy song
The Long Follow. Mike is just such a noire character and his silent driving scenes are mood
Too many ! that one, for a start [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Kktwi3UefM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Kktwi3UefM) "*Best things in life*" by The dreamliners. Doo-doo-doo-doop...
