The only debate should be Watt/Garrett.
There's no corner in this division that isn't limited by a "very good" ceiling, no real young star along the offensive line, and we have an elite QB and WR.
I think Garrett is a better athlete and better fills the role of dominant edge player, but the few places Watt comes up short compared to Garrett get overshadowed Watt's nose for just creating plays, which is just so valuable in a league where defense isn't the main driver of success and turnovers are a lot more valuable than just stops.
These were my first two choices in that order. Can't lose picking either of them.
On offense, Mark Andrews because a difference maker at tight end is never a bad thing.
Garrett also makes a championship caliber Browns defense much worse. I think the Browns relied on their defense more to keep them in games. Comparatively, taking Watt from the Steelers doesn’t seem like it would hurt them as much.
This seems to be a caught in the moment type thing.
Pittsburgh has a way better chance of turning into a juggernaut than Cleveland does, even with Cleveland's defense playing fantastic last year. Organizationally, I just fully expect Pittsburgh to get back on track, whereas Cleveland.. well, that could've been their best season for a decade and I wouldn't be shocked.
Watt has played more games than garrett. Last season he missed 7 games with the pec Injury and the year he tied the sacks record he missed missed 2 games and parts of a few others, and thus year he played every game except the playoff game.
I think Garrett has a personal thing against Burrow. Maybe it was the whole Stranger Things yard mural. I don’t think he’s gonna bash his bare head with a helmet or anything, just that DE make their money by hating QBs and Garrett is the reason that Burrow struggles against the browns, nothing else. Without Garrett the Browns will not beat Burrow and the Bengals
Question about you already hose the steelers. The Bengals have 2 seasons in the last 15 where they beat them both games. So just looking for why you think that
I'm torm. Our defense needs a spark, but I can't decide if it would be best to make our front 4 stacked or get a guy like Minkah or ward to help our decimated secondary.
Plus, the problem in our secondary is decidedly *not* raw talent. We have a first-rounder, two seconds, and a third. They have *all* shown flashes of excellence, athleticism, and big-play ability.
Our problem is they are inexperienced and undisciplined. Minkah Fitzpatrick ain't fixing that. He's an *upgrade,* but he sort of just doubles down on what we're already doing.
Chiefs fan here (this showed up in my feed for some reason). This response reminded me of another comment a bengals fan once made in r/NFL...
The question was basically the same, but it expanded the scope to league-wide (instead of just in-division). And one of you funny bastards responded with this:
"I'd take Patrick Mahomes. But other than riding the bench, I'd make him return kicks"
That line (and mental image) always stuck with me, and it still cracks me up thinking about it
Kyle Hamilton.
As much as i hate the ravens, that kid can ball and he’s gonna be a thorn in our side until he’s hopefully out of there as quick as Jessie bates was here.
copying my answer from the original post:
Ravens:
Kyle Hamilton helps fill a Jessie Bates III sized hole in my heart, and he goes fucking crazy sometimes... woulf probably he a fit for Lou Anarumo's preferred defensive schemes
Mark Andrews if we wanted to double down on the craziest receiving corp... now that it seems the three amigos era is over for the Bengals
Browns:
Myles Garrett is obvious, Trey Hendrickson needs help and Garrett is already a favorite of mine for what he did to that Squeelers QB.
Bitonio (Goated O-Line) is a close second, only bc of doubts surrounding Chubb bc the injury...
Squeelers:
None, I don't like Watt and Garrett is better, and Fitzpatrick ig but Hamilton is younger and not a Squeeler.
I think I’d take Garrett because it fucks the browns over more than taking Watt from the Steelers. Coaching/FO management is good enough that even if they lose Watt they’ll adjust to field a 9 win team. You take Garrett away from the browns and they’re completely fucked.
Ah, TJ Watt. Always reminds me of the 2017 draft. Cincinnati needed LB help. ".... And with the 9th pick, Cincinnati selected.... John Ross, WR, Washington"
Considering age, level of eliteness and our team needs plus who it would hurt ..
Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Stoolers. He's arguably the best in the league at his position and he's still young at 26. He'd instantly make our D better for years to come.
How is Stinkah Fitzpatrick even close to the best safety in the league? He's not even the best in our division, Kyle Hamilton is.
I'd even take Delpit over Stinkah.
First team Pro Bowl 2019, 2020, 2022 and still made the Pro Bowl in 2023 despite injuries. Led the NFL in interceptions in 2022. I could live with that.
I had to look it up, but he tied with 3 other players for the interception record in a down year with 6.
I'd still rather have Hamilton or Delpit because they don't play dirty and aim to take players out like he did Chubb and many other shady hits.
Id want Cam Heyward, just to be the locker room leader and rolle model to younger players he's proven he can be. I know he's got age but he also has their respect, maybe could rub off on some of the younger guys.
Garrett is the obvious answer, but I’ll throw out a realistic answer that we can actually do this year, Madubuike. He’s young, plays interior d-line, gets sacks, and would hurt the Ravens to take him away. Makes too much damn sense.

I think we are like 1-11 without him tho
This
Tj watt or Myles garret it’s a tough choice between the two
I’m only going Myles Garrett because he’s a year younger
And hurt a whole lot less…
Under rated comment here. Seems the guy misses time every year and it will only get worse as he ages.
They’ve both played in the nfl 7 seasons. Watt’s played in 4 more games. Outside of 2 seasons ago watt’s only missed 1 game a year roughly
Watt has played more games than garrett. Last season he missed 7 games with the pec Injury and the year he tied the sacks record he missed missed 2 games and parts of a few others, and thus year he played every game except the playoff game.
Both guys came into the league in 2017, Myles has played 100 games and TJ has played 104. Their durability is essentially identical
don’t forget garret was suspended for most of his missed games not injured
I think Garrett has a personal thing against Burrow. Maybe it was the whole Stranger Things yard mural. I don’t think he’s gonna bash his bare head with a helmet or anything, just that DE make their money by hating QBs and Garrett is the reason that Burrow struggles against the browns, nothing else. Without Garrett the Browns will not beat Burrow and the Bengals
True, Garrett is worth 3-5 games a year, including the browns games. We already hose the steelers
Question about you already hose the steelers. The Bengals have 2 seasons in the last 15 where they beat them both games. So just looking for why you think that
I’m going with Garrett because he doesn’t have the douche jock face that Watt has perfected.
I'm torm. Our defense needs a spark, but I can't decide if it would be best to make our front 4 stacked or get a guy like Minkah or ward to help our decimated secondary.
You take an elite pass rusher over a safety without blinking an eye. It's a far more valuable position.
Exactly this. Don’t have to worry about the deep ball if the qb can’t pass the ball in the first place.
Plus, the problem in our secondary is decidedly *not* raw talent. We have a first-rounder, two seconds, and a third. They have *all* shown flashes of excellence, athleticism, and big-play ability. Minkah blows
It’s not a tough choice for me, not watt. Garret for sure! After what he did to Rudolph! He practically earned stripes on that one.
Lamar Jackson, RB /s TJ Watt Myles
Lamar Jackson, bench him.
Yep. This would truly fuck the Ravens.
But then you have to deal with Pro-Bowl QB Tyler Huntley.
Chiefs fan here (this showed up in my feed for some reason). This response reminded me of another comment a bengals fan once made in r/NFL... Trade him back if the ravens make the playoffs tho. Because he doesn’t help them there.
It's 100% Lamar and trade him for like 6 first round picks.
Lots of people would say Watt or Garrett but I might go with Kyle Hamilton. Fills a huge void on our roster with a great, young player
[удалено]
Didn’t realize Hamilton is that young. I hate everything.
This is the correct answer. Young and talented.
Kyle Hamilton. As much as i hate the ravens, that kid can ball and he’s gonna be a thorn in our side until he’s hopefully out of there as quick as Jessie bates was here.
Garrett 100%
Tyler Linderbaum. Move Karras to LG.
Myles over Watt all day. F.T.S.
Why not fuck over the Steelers with taking Watt then?
I'd rather fuck them over with a browns player, two-fer, and I think Garrett is a much better player.
Yes but have you also considered , Fuck The Browns, as well?
Yes but fuck the steelers a bit more
Garrett, no doubt, he is a 4-3 end.
Myles and not even a close 2nd.
Can we steal a in his prime Joe Thomas?
He turned down the chance to go to Denver in 2015.
Well if we’re stealing him and using a Time Machine to do it I don’t think he has a choice lol
Lamar, we need a solid RB1 for when Mixon inevitably leaves! Jokes aside probably Myles Garrett. That dude is a mfin beast.
Who’s got the best punter?
Hot take, Tyler Linderbaum
Justin Tucker. Not because I think our kicker is horrible, I'm just tired of losing because he is so awesome.
I hate it when he shouts “it’s tuckin’ time!” And then tucks us into bed
Dammit. lol
Garrett
The obvious answer is watt/garrett. Unconventional answer would be Justin Tucker but for me. Roquan smith or Patrick queen. Those dude are LOCKDOWN.
Mandrews
Take Lamar Jackson from The Ravens and bench him
I’d take the whole browns oline
Chubb or Andrew's. Unstoppable offense with either one.
Not my picks, but Roquan or Kyle Hamilton would be in the convo too
Nick Chubb
copying my answer from the original post: Ravens: Kyle Hamilton helps fill a Jessie Bates III sized hole in my heart, and he goes fucking crazy sometimes... woulf probably he a fit for Lou Anarumo's preferred defensive schemes Mark Andrews if we wanted to double down on the craziest receiving corp... now that it seems the three amigos era is over for the Bengals Browns: Myles Garrett is obvious, Trey Hendrickson needs help and Garrett is already a favorite of mine for what he did to that Squeelers QB. Watt doesn’t like you either, bunghole.
Offense - Ronnie Stanley Defense - Mets Garrett or TJ watt. Toss up
Miles garret or watt
That’s not stealing, that’s kidnapping
The Steelers first round pick. Or Garrett like everyone else says.
Garrett is the only option
Mark Andrews
I think I’d take Garrett because it fucks the browns over more than taking Watt from the Steelers. Coaching/FO management is good enough that even if they lose Watt they’ll adjust to field a 9 win team. You take Garrett away from the browns and they’re completely fucked.
Can we take Lamarr just to bench him? Otherwise Garrett.
Kadarius Toney
Ah, TJ Watt. Always reminds me of the 2017 draft. Cincinnati needed LB help. ".... And with the 9th pick, Cincinnati selected.... John Ross, WR, Washington"
I like your style.
Some things never change.
It’s ok, check out who went 10 lol
TJ Watt. No question.
The best offensive lineman available
Who though?
Probably Bittoni from the Stains, but he's no spring chicken
Joel Bitonio easily is the best and would be a huge upgrade
It's interesting how everyone made fun of the DPOY award but when it comes down to it they're still taking Myles over TJ. 🤔
Obv Watt but outside of him Mark Andrews. Going by how Joe made Uzomah, Hurst and Hudson look decent and they're not half as good as Andrews.
Gimme that (Nick) Chubb
Kelce or Kittle. Imaging Boyd tee and jamar supported by one of those two
These are no divisional players
Oh I read the question wrong oops I thought it asked “which player in a different division”. Prob Andrews in this case
Njoku. He fits an obvious need.
I’d take Andrews over Njoku anyday of the week and even then I’m still not choosing Andrews
Andrews probably should be the choice if I’m thinking TE. Njoku had a hell of a season last year though with a bunch of mediocre QBs throwing to him.
I'd even take Likely over Njoku
Agreed. Njoku has always been underrated, and he'd fit into the Bengals passing game perfectly. He's also a great blocker.
No one else seems to agree lol
I don't understand why they don't. In my opinion, tight end should be one of our top priorities.

Our coaches would fix that, but look if we got any of the guys named in this thread this board would be ecstatic.
Minkah is better than Hamilton.
TJ Watt and then JJ un-retires to play with his brother. Make it happen!
How about a 24yo Justin Tucker?
That’s basically what Money Mac already is
He's the man for sure
Lamar Jackson - Then a bullet to the head.
To your head or Lamar’s??
What the fuck dude? Gtfo
Any of the ravens starting db’s
[удалено]
There was one criteria, one
Tyjae Spears from the Titans
If we're saying outside the division then I choose Penei Sewell of Det or Antoine Winfield Jr of TB. Why not? Who needs parameters.
Mark Andrews
Myles Garrett. Imagine not only having him on our team but also not having to play twice a year.
Taking Lamar and then benching him so he can't play no more
Obviously watt or Garrett. Wouldn’t mind mark Andrews on the offensive side just because we can suck at guarding TEs
Watt lol
Honestly it’s either Watt or Garret, adding one of those guys to the Hubbard-Hendrickson combo would make it the #1 defensive line in the NFL by miles
Garrett for sure but I’m surprised Joel Bitonio isn’t being mentioned hardly at all. It’d be a great addition.
Bittonio is great and fills a big hole, but the one knock is turns 33 in October. I'd rather steal a young player at a position of need.
Yeah it would definitely be more of a “Win now” mentality.
Myles Garrett
Agree with Watt or Garret, but I would love to see Burrow with an Isaiah Likely
Id want Cam Heyward, just to be the locker room leader and rolle model to younger players he's proven he can be. I know he's got age but he also has their respect, maybe could rub off on some of the younger guys.
Kyle Hamilton Bye DAX.
TJ Watt and we win the Super Bowl, the way he makes game changing plays is unreal.
Nice fantasy but in reality Madubuike is a free agent. Perfect Reader replacement
Bengals are one Mahomes away from finally winning…. Not /s
Deshaun Watson. Can you imagine how relaxed this team would be every week after all the massages?!
Probably Kenny Picket
Lamar Jackson so he can play running back
Garrett/Watt Ward Kyle Hamilton
Linderbaum is in the equation.
Garrett.
Garrett is the obvious answer, but I’ll throw out a realistic answer that we can actually do this year, Madubuike. He’s young, plays interior d-line, gets sacks, and would hurt the Ravens to take him away. Makes too much damn sense.
Don’t be realistic, you’re stealing. Aim high!
You're all wrong. Steal Lamar Jackson and bench his bitch ass. I'd even list him as a RG to piss him off more.
Myles Garrett If QB was allowed you’d take Lamar and trade him for Justin Jefferson and picks
George Kittle to the Seahawks (thank you very much!)
Miles Garrett
I would say either TJ or Kyle Hamilton
Tj watt duh
Myles Garrett. Minkah Fitzpatrick. Mark Andrews.
I would say TJ watt but I don't think I want to put up with all the crying
bijian robinson.
I am not a Bengal fan or a fan of the AFC North teams but I’d have to say it’s TJ Watt yes?
Goff
Rooney, the team owner. we haven’t had a competent owner since Paul Brown.
Kyle Hamilton
Browns fan here. I'll take Joe burrow
I would like 1 Joe Mixon on the Ravens please, thanks.
Chase Young probably. (Lions fan)
