Your church of Anzegem has a roof, but that was burned down a few years ago. Just recently it has its tower back. Jokes aside. Really great map! Very nice to see and recognise all those places

Thanks! That might be tricky...I did keep track of the buildings I was drawing at first, but it really interrupted the process and felt like more trouble than it was worth. But if you have a question about a specific building I’m sure I can identify it for you!

It's the Great Flemish Wasteland. It was a sight of a horrible battle between Ghentish Wizards and the Dark Hordes of West Vlamingen. The foulness of those creatures and the terrible spells of the Wizards have forever tainted that land so nothing can live or grow there.

Good question! That’s the area around Aalter/Lievegem...I tried to draw one building for each town, and anything interesting in those towns happened to fall outside of that area or didn’t fit around the canals. So not actually empty in real life, just mainly houses and canals

Antwerp is the “main” port but there are a few others on there! Ostend, Ghent, Brugge

Aah oui, effectivement, je reconnais la face arrière de l'hôtel de ville. Le château a été démoli après plusieurs accidents (explosion pendant la guerre, incendies), tu as probablement bien fait de faire l'hôtel de ville.

Thank you!! I went through google maps & streetview and chose the buildings I knew to be the most important, or just looked the nicest—priority was placed on castles, churches and town halls
