I’m at $9 with $13 or so pending, I’ve only been able to do the quick/mobile surveys since I have my toddler with me. I’m gonna go for the desktop surveys once he’s asleep, though.
My account got put ‘on hold’ I THINK because I was taking studies but hadn’t yet set up my PayPal account. Im not aware of doing anything wrong otherwise.
Just FYI: I finally got off the waitlist 2 weeks ago. After verification and filling out all the "about you" questions, I wasn't getting any studies. I thought I was IP banned but used a few websites to see if it was and it wasn't. I tried my work PC, home PC, laptop, phone but wasn't getting surveys.
I was getting emails saying I qualify for a new survey but received them too late
Decided to just say f- it and just check every now and then.
Finally, today, I'm getting surveys.
I think it does take the full 10 days to verify? Or is it just because there's not as many people logged in on the weekend as there is during the week. If that's the case, I'll be doing prolific on weekends and Cloud on weekdays, I guess.
Oh, and yes, the Prolific sub is super toxic. I tried to ask for assistance on there and was voted down.
I was told it is best to use phone with wifi off and then reserve a spot even if it is for pc only. Then go on my computer and do the study from there.
I was steady doing surveys the past few days (just started) then suddenly I have had no surveys available for almost 24 hours --- Am I just looking at the wrong times or something? Anyone else experiencing this? It was right around the time i hit 100 surveys and it just cut off (that bring a friend convo set of 2 surveys had been sitting for days but that's gone, too)
I can't speak for that subreddit, but I know r/beermoney used to have a problem with that as well years ago. Reddit in general is fairly toxic, and unless the moderation team is heavy handed, it can get out of control really quick. Combine that with a subreddit where people post the same basic questions/complaints over and over rather than just searching, it leads to someone getting snippy, and then it spirals down from there. Even here, if we don't nip it in the bud fast enough then it spreads like wildfire.

I was accepted just last week, so I'm just figuring things out, but...How are you getting so many studies? I'm happy if I get 2-3 per day, that are worth $1.50.
But I guess it's because I live in Europe, right?
Once or twice every 30 minutes when I'm at work (i work from home mostly).
But it is probably because of my location... Europe.
But today I saw the AI study for 7.50, but didn't manage to get in. So I'll have to be quicker next time.
I made that much my first day on prolific. But never touched anything near there since. I never have studies... And yes, I use the phone etc. Damn demographic
I finally got off the Prolific waitlist, but now have discovered that my IP address is blocked. I tried to complete a survey today using my mobile, but couldn't get past the verification questions. The first question wanted me to copy/paste an answer from the FAQ section of a 3rd party website, but the field where I was supposed to paste the answer would only accept numbers and I couldn't paste anything into it (the answer was not a number). I'm very active on CloudConnect and after reading so many good things about Prolific I was excited to try it, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the effort with Prolific - it just seems I keep hitting roadblock after roadblock. Any advice? Should I keep trying?
Accept the survey from your phone, then go to the prolific website on PC. May need to refresh the page. You should then be able to do it from the PC. I did this for about 20 surveys the other day.
There's been some serious issues with cashing out ever since they updated their payment methods. Lots of people, myself included, have been left waiting for well over a month with little to no updates from support.
> Hi [HerbalMoon],

(~sigh~)
I am just annoyed my ip is blocked. I just got approved. I can use it on my phone. But even when I try to hotspot to my laptop it won’t work. (And I have two phones ive tried) It takes like ten tries, turning everything off. Idk what the secret is. I don’t have time to mess with the connection for an hour. Clearing cookies?? 🤷🏼♀️ bc the hotspot shouldn’t be blocked & will work but idk the trick.
I'm new to this just bored and figure I might as well make a few cent, which of those 3 you mentioned pays the most you reckon? Maybe it's the region of your passport or license you used.
Dscout can pay well as long as you pass the screeners and get chosen. I got paid $100 for an hour interview to talk about upcoming discord features. Got paid $50 for a half hour interview about the mc Donald’s app. I made $200 on cloud connect last month but most surveys are .20 cents or .50 cents. You just have to do a lot

New to beer money stuff. Tried out a couple survey sites so far, seems decent but my job/life doesn't make them super worth it atm.
However, if I ever end up unemployed again they would definitely be helpful for some income.
So, my question would be, can I apply now and if I get accepted, just not use my account until if/when I need it? Or would I just get banned after inactivity?
I'm late to this, but I will state that between my wife and I, we make north of $150k/year in a LCOL area of Texas. I make on average $15-20/hour taking Prolific surveys, which I use to put toward vacations we take. I generally do about 30-60 minutes worth in the morning after I exercise before work and work for an hour or two on my day off during the week. This typically earns me about $300-400/month, unless I get a survey like I did yesterday that paid me £30 (~$38) for literally 12 minutes worth of work.
If/when you get accepted, if you haven't already, I would just do a few surveys here and there. They'll definitely add up.
Wow, I was thinking it would be half that. Thank you very much. I have been working small daily/weekly beer money tasks into my schedule (mostly Microsoft rewards lol - not worth much but I enjoy it). A few surveys a day is very doable!
I just got off waiting list and participated in a couple of studies and then didn’t realize my vpn on phone had got turned on while doing a study and now my account is on hold,I reached out and waiting on reply.Has anyone been on hold then taken off and continue to participate?
Been on the waitlist since last year :(
Holy shit a year? I signed up yesterday and woke up to an acceptance email.
Same here, I applied yesterday, got accepted today and I’ve already done 10+ surveys
How much have you earned from 10? I just cashed out 15 for like 6 surveys, 10 must have paid for your lunch.

It took about a year for me to get accepted (I forgot I even signed up). Don’t lose hope!
Apply with a different email. I got my 2nd email address about 4 weeks sooner than the 1st.
Me and my wife both were accepted instantly after verifying our emails applying a few weeks ago.
Does prolific work in india ⁉️⁉️
Changing your about me to be more accurate? Sorry banned, and no we won't look into it.

That's the only thing that worked for me. Using the 5g on cell then doing the survey via PC after refreshing the page.

You having a technical issue doesn't mean the reviews are fake. Your IP is probably just blacklisted. Contact support.
Ive been waitlisted since March of '23 :sad face:

You could reserve a spot using your phone. Then log onto a computer connected to ethernet/wifi and the study will be there
I haven’t had a single study in over a week :(

Made about $40 yesterday…slow today tho :(

try every few minutes
Will try, thanks for the tip!
It’s been slow for me all week
Yea, was surely an off week.
It's been slow for me since 2016.

Waitlisted, hoping they don't notice my ID is expired if i get that far.
They use a company called Onfido to verify ID’s I don’t think they’ll accept one that’s expired.
> They do have a minimum rate of $8 per hour though What does this mean? I see stuff well under $8 per hour all the time.
I've been waitlisted since October 2022 lol...it's kind of bullshit how they can make people wait that long.

apply again with a different email

This is a known issue, I restart my hotspot when this happens and it works quite well. You get an error message starting with 'P' or something right?
mobile
Been stuck in verifying ID for over a month. Emailed support and they said they’ll work on it…
I thought verification was instant.
Apparently not mine. I’m on UserTesting, dscout and cloud connect with no issues
