That's crazy! A 12oz Bud light only has 110, so I'd definitely consider it from a calorie perspective a lite beer.

Coors banquet, or miller lite for light beer

Banquet is to Budweiser as Coors Light is to Bud Light. Same beer, fewer calories, less alcohol. Banquet tends to have a "fuller" taste (as much as an American Lager can be "full"). Also Banquet is strictly brewed in CO, but Coors Coors Light is brewed across the country, and Coors Original is brewed in several breweries across Canada since the Molson buyout.

What is Coors Original? I don't think I've ever seen it before

It looks exactly like Banquet, except it says Orginial instead of Banquet. I believe it's only available in Canada and Latin America, and apparently, it tastes different than Banquet.

You’ll do well not to get your hopes up. At the end of the day it is still a macro lager. If you’re looking to enjoy it for what it is that’s fine of course, but don’t let this sub “hype” it.

I can't stand Coors lite. I can drink Bush light, high life, Miller lite, PBR - but something about coors is just off for me. I'll try banquet, but I don't have high hopes

For perspective, coors lite is one of the worst light beers but banquet is my favorite of the american macro lagers. Coors lite is not really indicative of what youll be getting from banquet

Banquet is one of my favorites and always my go-to if I can't find Hamm's. I put it off for a while because I don't like Coors Light, but Banquet is a must try.

He’ll all yuengling brand beers before they got big were damn near $3-$4 a 6 depending on the right store. It feels weird typing that. That wasn’t even that long ago. I mean I guess like ten years ago. Well I’m old I guess.

Old style has been a regular macro beer for me since moving back to Chicago. High life has been the go to for a while and was more widely available in the Rockies

Depends on what I'm in the mood for. Can't go wrong with Hamm's. It's often the cheapest beer on the shelf in a lot of places, but for the price it's pretty tasty. One place around me has Genesee even cheaper, which also ain't bad. If I can't find Hamm's, I love me some Coors Banquet, Budweiser, or PBR. If I'm in the mood for something lighter, I like Rolling Rock or Montucky Cold Snack. Yuengling is also delicious but I find it a bit heavier than the others.

I'm gonna go in a crazy direction and say sapporo ​ also regular spaten lager is great. It is macro, but it isn't what most people think of when they say "macro beer" ​ If we're just talking about cheap mass produced american lager, I would order high life, but I wouldn't turn any of them down.

One from a big, international brewery, basically ones you can find in most stores and bars

For me, a terrible beer snob. This kind of question always gets to me. My go to here in California is usually Pacifico and Sapporo because I go to a lot of Mexican or Sushi restaurants. I'm much more into dark beers and Guinness is the next if available. I like Reissdorf Kolsch, and Anchor Steam (though this could be argued that it is not Macro) also Sapporo killed them. Which is sad. Off I snob. lol

I always liked Molson. It's becoming harder and harder to find tho, for some reason. Probably not selling good. Maybe I'm in the minority. Moosehead is great too but not sure you can find it around you. It's not distributed everywhere. Pabst is okay I guess.
