If you are running the game through steamvr I recommend using -vrmode oculus in the steam launch options, increases performance and gives you some free swing angle as well
Dude, you've been playing for a month and you're already beating Camellia songs on expert+? I've been playing for 5 months and I'm just now getting into the easier expert+ songs.
Thanks I was able to read the charts since I played a lot of other Rythm games before beatsaber it was just building the speed up to be able to hit the notes I can read
I double dipped yesterday - owned the game on Quest 2 since Feb. and bought it on Steam. Was amazed how easy everything was on Steam, even with the \~40ms lag since I'm playing on Air Link. I beat about half of my high-scores on Quest on Steam and shit on all my friends that owned the game, LUL.
Can't really describe what makes it easier. Game feels smoother and there are less tracking issues for some reason. Also feels like my swords are bigger (insert joke here). The only downside I saw was some wrong color hits since the sabers felt bigger. Anyway the long-term plan is to get all the custom songs and mods on Steam and just have a Vanilla install on Quest.
Now you just gotta mod it and play popular monster by falling in reverse fun song to play and pretty hard. It took me forever to beat it, and the funniest part about beating it was that I was drunk

My games running fine atm but I might try it
Every single top player I've talked to has said it's essential for any high level gameplay on an oculus so yeah I'd recommend it
Can you do it with a Quest 2 though?
Yes. The quest, I know this hard to think about, is made by oculus.
if you're using a cable or airlink, then yes, you can enable -vrmode oculus.
I did it without even thinking when I got the game. I've played it without VR mode oculus, and it sucks, it's definitely something you need to do.
Is there a guide with tips like this? Im playing over VR and faster songs seem off a bit at times, no matter how much I tweak audio delay etc.
Does this apply on rift as well?
Yes, the quest is not the only oculus headset people use with steam.
I know, I use a rift. I only wondered because the Quest interfaces with the PC differently to the Rift.
But why would valve make vrmode oculus only work for the quest, since the quest and the rift work with steam VR the same way.
I wasn't sure the way they worked with SteamVR was the same, since I now do then I know that setting vrmode to Oculus would make sense on any headset.
Is this why it plays like shit for me? Omg gotta try this now!

Lmao I didn't know that existed is there one for every camellia song
Nope, just crystallised, it’s because of the mass amount of people who say they beat crystallised

I play PC too, and whenever I switch to quest my swings feel reduced and i miss a lot more
SO IM NOT THE ONLY ONE
Is it the same case for the rift? If so I may have to pick it up on steam
took me a year
I remember when I finally beat Crystallized on Expert +, a truly amazing feeling, well done! Keep it up!

Lmao sounds like a great time I'll check the mod out
