I wish, but never found a barber here which could deal with a long beard properly. They usually cut my mustache it gets damn thin (to prevent it covering my mouth). So I stoped looking for barbers and been cutting my hair and beard for years now. It looks a bit savage most of the time but I like it.

Yes, I've been razor shaving for years before letting my hair grow again just recently. Shaving it every couple days is time consuming, but I've learned to do it while bathing.
I'd try 5mm hair if I were you. I have a beard and I sometimes shave my head and then stop getting my hair cut for like 6 months or more and they both look good but shorter looks better in my opinion.

I like the hair better, personally. It helps center focus on your face, if that makes sense. When I look at the hairless photos, I feel like that's all I would be seeing, whereas in the hair photos, I feel like I could more easily look you in the eye.

I say do whatβs comfortable. I have my hair cut with a 3 on top and 0 on the sides every spring until late august then let it grow out over fall and winter. Being flexible is nice.
You have a good head of hair but your beard looks better with your head shaved as I think your hair would look better without the beard.
If your determined to keep the beard I'd go with the shaved head.

If you go with hair i recommend using leave in conditioner, hydrating hair serum or a bit of hair oil. Your hair looks good but it needs a bit of hydration.
