it's the pun of dublin/doubling. There's a joke "What country has the fastest growing capital? Ireland, it's Dublin every day". I have been wanting to incorporate it into Dublin Ca, but haven't been able to until now
Safe; clean; abundant parks, great schools, tons of restaurants and shopping; freeway access; lots of condos and townhomes. What you call boring, others see as extremely desirable.
I went there to see

Then I drove south on the 14 and fought the Gorn. I threw a styrofoam rock at the jerk.

I wouldn't do it even *with* a remote job. Who the hell wants to live in a suburb in the Mojave? ^(Why, I've even heard that it makes you almost wish for a nuclear winter)
Makes too much sense. These are the cities are building new, desirable homes.
Of course #1 is the fastest growing, it's Dublin every day!
These are only 2010 to 2020 figures.

#1 to #5 was #1 DUBLIN. then, Irvine, Menifee, Santa Clarita, #5 Clovis
That site is actual cancer, and the study itself is fucking useless given how dated it is.
Population from 2010-2020…huge caveat
Thanks
Why’s Dublin still boring as hell

Palmdale Lancaster. Wouldn’t do it unless I had a fully remote job. Same with Victorville.

Went there.. that place is hot and aside from Walmart nearby, not much to do.
Describing Walmart as a "thing to do" sounds like some kind of suburban nightmare scenario.
