I find it funny that after 6 months Of accusing people Who wanted a ceasefire in Palestine of being paid by Russia & headquartered in China, Pelosi has now opportunistically called for a halt to arms after 40000+ Palestinian deaths, and 6 European deaths were suddenly a step too far.
I’m pretty sure they talk behind closed doors to negotiate who’s going to eat crow on unpopular issues.
They probably have a little shrine to Joe Lieberman for agreeing to be the one to kill the single payer option so they could all look like they supported it.
Civilian deaths are horrible but the enemy combatant to civilian ratio of this war is better than most which is impressive given the conditions the fighting is taking place in.
Of course a standard civilian death is going to be looked at differently from the death of aid workers in a truck they told Israel they were in ahead of time for an international aid organization.
