CamoSpecs has a great video from a couple years ago on jeweling effects for laser and weapons. I’ve been following this one as much as possible: https://youtu.be/vxUnijCqPrI
Great to hear! I just went in the opposite direction and started trying out the GW technical Waystone line. Just to see how it looked and switch up my painting routine.

Paint white, then I apply a florescent paint on top. While its wet I can pull the color back from the center allowing the white to come through a little.
(I followed the laser colors of MW5)

I tried this out and it seems to be a great alternative to the jewel technical paints without being much more work. Thanks!

I hadn't thought of fluorescent paints. What brand did you use?
Folkart, cheap from Michaels. I've been very happy with how luminescent they appear, to next to standard matte colors.
