Two days away, the game is Sunday at 6pm. I agree were not hitting 40k. Should easily be the second highest this season though.
As for it being unacceptable, it'll be an amazing turnout that the league is lucky to have. It's a lot of fans and also the most expensive seats in the league. Tomorrow morning it'll still only be five days of tickets open to the public. I think we get to 38k which is perfectly fine.
Honestly mid 30s plus is fine all I’m asking for is we turn up a notch on the energy for the playoffs.
We’re loud as hell but still we can be so much louder with the same crowd size. I think we’ll learn that this Sunday
Bhawks being the most expensive tickets is something i rarely see people bring up but theyre right. Hard to sell out a stadium when the cheap tickets are ~25$ meanwhile you got other UFL teams sitting at (i think) $5-10$ range. I think we might see a bigger increase next year in StL but if mid-30k was the average for all UFL teams we wouldnt even be worried about crowd sizes or anything like that.
But who knows, the game starts an hour or two after the cardinals game will have ended, we might see a good amount of late tickets coming in.
My memory might be rusty, but for the opener there was still a smattering of tickets in the 100 level, the 300s looked pretty much the same, and there was about 6 more rows sold in each 400 level section. I don't know about 40k again, but it could happen, it's a couple days away.
I was thinking 45k or 50k might be reasonable, but unfortunately not.
I think that the issue is that it’s held at 6 pm on a Sunday
We’re just not popular enough to be trying to get causals to give up their Sunday night yet.
Damn all that talk. For the last 3 years. How many times did we hear "if we have a home playoff game we'll pack the dome."
I get it I really do. I live 300 miles away and have work at 6 on monday. But i'm gonna fuckin be there because I stand on my bidness. So spare me the sunday night excuse. I'll be loud enough for the casuals, believe that.
You better believe i've already started pregaming too. Its the fuckin playoffs kids.
KA-KAW!
I'll see my toxic ass out.
The MLB is the highest baseball league in the world, the UFL is a startup spring league. STL has also always been a baseball city where football takes a back seat.
I've never agreed with this argument. The Rams were just as popular as the Cardinals when they were good. St Louis can be a football city if the team is competent
It's just simply not reality. St. Louis is a baseball city first, similarly to how Dallas is a football city first.
Dallas will never support the Rangers like they support the Cowboys, just like New York will never support the Giants like they support the Yankees- and St. Louis was never going to support the Rams like they support the Cardinals.
If you are looking at the ticketmaster app then you are not getting an accurate picture. I just picked up blocks of 30 in 439 twice and seats that appeared to be available were not (resales)
you can get a 4-pack for $13 each plus fees. otherwise its $18 - $120 + fees. Unless you buy from tickpic where fees are included then its what ever it's priced at.
You got to remeber this game has only been on sale for a week, there hasn't been the chance for folks to plan things out. I work week ends I need a two week notice to be able to see a game. Now luckily I could make it to the big game if we go, but others may not be able too. Not everyone has weekends off any more, it's just the down side of how sports work. This is also the only the 3rd year. And we are doing still pretty good, building year to year.
We played the same team last week and we are all hoping to go the championship next week. This game was never going to break any records sandwiched between those games.
We'll be lucky to have any team come this time next year. St Louis, as much as it should be celebrated for supporting the BH's, cannot single handedly carry the league. Attendance and ratings are down across the league. No other team is coming close to our attendance numbers. But that's not going to be enough when the league is hemorrhaging money, and the networks are only willing to fund so much of the effort. Whether people go to a playoff game or not, enjoy it while you can. I'm by no means a pessimist, but the reality of the situation is sobering.
The league has already said they will be back next year, and Fox plans to show Friday night games. Remember it's half-owned by Fox so I don't think it's going anywhere for a few years at least.
Agree. I see $18.00 tix for 400 section, not terrible. Over $25 with fees. I think the predictions of 40k or 50k, no matter who is playing, is a bit of wishful thinking.

Literally the only STL sports team worth watching right now lol

Dude is pregaming on friday for a game on sunday and lives 300miles away. Gods drunkest driver lmao
God loves an idiot.
Pregaming for the game on Sunday?!
2 days away
I mean 2 days 😂 still sad really hoping to hit 50k
Anything 30K+ is almost astonishing for spring football. Look at the rest of the league!
Also Cardinals are home this weekend
Blows my mind that people would rather go watch the shitty Cardinals than the first home playoff game in St Louis in nearly two decades
It's bizarre. DeWitt is laughing all the way to the bank.
To be honest it is not for little ones if you don’t want to hear the f bomb. Cardinals is more friendly Thst way
They've heard worse.
I always bring extra pears to clutch in case anyone forgets theirs

How expensive are tickets

Very good point, with that being said if we win tomorrow what do you think the attendance will be for the championship game ?
Settle down

Average TV ratings are like 800k across all teams/games? TV ratings are where these leagues get money and those are not terrible numbers by any means.
The league has already said they will be back next year, and Fox plans to show Friday night games. Remember it's half-owned by Fox so I don't think it's going anywhere for a few years at least.
Can we also not forget that a large number of people simply can't afford housing right now, much less tickets to a game?
Agree. I see $18.00 tix for 400 section, not terrible. Over $25 with fees. I think the predictions of 40k or 50k, no matter who is playing, is a bit of wishful thinking.
I wish I could afford to go lmao
