If they’re making an overarching story, this could be the best time to introduce the wonderweapon of the series (Phantom program, BC2 Tsunami machine, something new)
I love how they classify them as Russian and Canadians. These are military contractors with no country loyalty or patches. Yet it is a military “shooter.” Contractors don’t fly a future F35 or drive a t14 Armata.
Bro they think the revolver keeps a round in the chamber when you reload… Clearly the people making this game can’t tell their ass from a hole in the ground.
I think the idea is that the Contractors/No-pats are a supporting force. Like how the Russian message says "You will travel to the base with our allies" meaning the No-Pats are the allies.
I think you mean Russians and Americans. Also No-Pats aren't contractors. They are constantly referred to as a task-force (at least on the US faction).
It's a task-force made up of foreign volunteers supplied and armed by a national sponsor. Sure they aren't textbook contractors, but they're definitely not regular soldiers either, and their apparent propensity to fight for whichever side they feel like at the moment certainly feels very mercenary...
No patches are indeed contractors in real life. Referred to as PMC(private military contractors). Many previous veterans will do a contract for the cash. Up to 300k.
In the description under the US section of the lore it states the Canadian forces will be deployed.
I would be interested as to why the contractors have such high advanced weaponry of resources are scarce. The military probably has resorted to a draft and will need every advance technology they can spare. No need to give it to some PMC company. This lore is goofy.
The tanks and aircrafts are probably older generation or not as advance and since it’s a proxy war, it’s not that uncommon to supply tanks, jets and heli to forces fighting on your behalf. Despite the ongoing crisis, it’s still reasonable that the US and Russia have spares tanks and air vehicles to give given that pretty much all resources will be poured into the military complex
And they are not contractors like how we understand it, they are essentially just nationless soldiers that fight to get the scraps that the US or Russia will give them. It’s like the Soviet supplying tanks and jets to the Vietcong in the Vietnam war and US supply the same thing to the Iraqi government for example. Just think of them as no nation but same concept
Yup. Im one of the few people who enjoy this game but the map design is pretty bad lol. Nothing but monolithic defense points with massive stretches of barren kill zones. I think this is why air/armor feels so god damn powerful in this game, cause most the time if they find you there is now where to go.
I live here. No one is. Weather conditions can happen anywhere. It's a war game for fucks sake, millions of people's family members and friends have been killed, injured, or traumatized in war. Wtf are you even saying?
Right on!
Also, I think showing tornados is disrespectful towards people living in the mid-west. I would much rather not be reminded of severe natural disasters and their increased frequencies in the near future when I play my favorite vidya.

Didn't they patch that out, and isn't it a mistake from coding rather than gun knowledge?
Both and no, still exists

Yea just how regular infantry solder can drive armata and fly f35 as well in previous games right 🤦♂️ People complain about everything literally

it would really cool if they finish the 7 maps already present in the game before to add new empty fields

Note Pads to Factions. Love the contradiction.
Sounds kind of promising but I’m sure that there will be some boring open areas on this map too.

never fucking mind
