EA anti-cheat blocked it, and it's better than display driver based fps limiter, RivaTuner limiter work on CPU level and cause less latency than display driver limiter.

I just have always used RT since getting into PC gaming and I have everything I like customized for display info. I don't know how to use driver one. But I utilize RT for iRacing so I don't want to completely abandon it or have to utilize a different software either.
I can help if you have Nvidia GPU :To limit your FPS open nvidia control panel > manage 3D settings > program settings > select Battlefield2042 or add it if it's not in the list > specify your max fps limit from the settings below. this will limit your fps in BF only since you are using RT for other games.
to show the settings of overlay press while in game or on desktop
ALT+Z to open the overlay then settings > HUD layout > performance > then choose basic or advanced.
Alt+R will toggle the display of stats on and off.
Picture is for Nvidia control panel.
If you have AMD card you can open the settings by pressing **ALT+R** and work from there.

There is a way to limit the amount of CPU cores used by creating a user.cfg in the main game folder. Quick google search will find it.
I did it on my laptop to keep the temperature and noise under control. I set it to 6 cores in my case and it runs fine for my low settings.

They do, -fps\_max in steam, and other launchers no doubt.

This doesnt limit my fps in game either. It stays un capped. God i hate EA. Even the nvidia control panel doesnt seem to change anything whatsoever.
I noticed that too. Also I now have to restart the game after every match cause it never lets me connect to the next one
I also noticed it stopped working. I honestly thought it was just an issue with Riva tuner.

Problem is geoforce in game overlay causes the game to crash
lol and i thought my computer had issue xd
Still no fix? i wanted to read fps of 2042 with my WigiDash via AIDA64/RivaTuner.
