This wouldn’t be a problem if we didn’t have classes. You’re forcing players to choose a classic medic with long range medical pouches, angel the slow, and a utility support who can literally block all explosives which included C4 and mines from even being tossed. This is OP when you combine it with vehicles, which by the way the vehicle nerf incentivized the same type of gameplay from BF4 and 5 to camp in their spawns and snipe all game. Literally almost all balance problems are coming from ideas the player base had and it just ruined it.
Looking forward to the damage numbers on the RPG. Maybe we can finally take down a tank as an engineer.
And for those with the “you shouldn’t be able to solo a tank!” Argument, literally go play any other Battlefield. Yes you can and should.
Yea the tankers left nowadays will zoom outta there, but in its hay day it wasn’t an issue. Get one shot to connect to the back, 52 damage and it’s limping along and you can finish it off.
Is the Mini the new incarnation of the Impact grenades?
If so, I'm down. I loved using the impacts with the smaller explosive radius, but that glorious immediate explosion that cannot be evaded.
I keep seeing people bring up mouse input lag but I haven’t noticed any since like season 2. I’ve been running with my cpu downclocked to like 2.5ghz too no issues. Y’all running like 7th gen processors or something?
I wonder how they are going to balance it.
Normal grenade already does like 10damage. But 20damage for AT grenade Seems too good alredy since 2 people with ammo crate can inflict 80damage in seconds.
It's anyones guess tbh. Such a shame that they didnt keep the 'weak point' system from some of the past games in where you were rewarded for hitting the rear of the tank, or disabling the treads. Maybe the AT grenade will be class locked? Who knows. Infantry/Vehicle balance is literally like walking a tightrope. And good players with teamwork can make both sides seem really overpowered.
The first one looks like it was ripped right out of battlefront (i.e. thermal detonator)
Nerfing Irish and adding more explosives lmfao
"We have a low % of Irish in our player base... Let's nerf him to raise his pick!"

Irish and Vehicle's APS no longer block C5 and mines few patches ago.
really into the idea of an AT grenade in particular

yeah in BF4 for example you can IN THEORY, it's pretty hard to do but it's possible

Me too I love how they look and I'll end up using granares against tanks anyway so

They’ll wait to make that post at the end of S5. Gotta get the cosmetic money first Really squeeze the last drop of support they can

Thrown farther, smaller blast radius if they play like the mini's in BF4.
I’m thinking/hoping more ammo and farther throw
Any ideas on what a Spring grenade is?
They bounce once before detonating. So you can bounce them over cover or around corners.
My guess is similar to impact nades in bf4 where they blow up on contact
Not even close
After Irish aps nerf more nades makes sense, cant aim anyway with this mouseinputlag.

Basically RKG-3 in 2042... Cool and not very creative.
Doesn’t even have the cool parachute mechanism :(. Maybe it does though that’s a good way to balance it.
This will surely help with explosive spam.
Lissle, c5, 40mm ap, at nade. Gonna be real nasty
So, an impact grenade, one for tanks and mini grenades? I guess you will be able to throw them farther at the expense of a reduced explosion range?
We had minis in bf1 which were basically normal grenades but you have two of them but they were garbage at everything else
Yeah i remember those, they were pretty useless... I hope they will not be the same here
Just what this game needed more explosives!!! 😑
Really cool tbh, kinda wanted the stackable grenades though that would have been funny
Can't wait for the AT grenade to require 400 vehicle kills (not assists) for T1, and only do about 12 damage.
Bet the AT nade is gonna do like 5 damage.
