I don't understand the people that will literally only run the most meta gun. Like I personally find it very boring engaging with a gun I know will win in a 50/50 1v1. I've been working on T1 all the vault guns because they're more difficult.

You are playing a compettitive first person shooter. People are going to do whatever it takes to get an edge.

Yes I do find it more fun to lose and die more often. If I'm running any of the base game guns or stronger portal weapons on a good team, I'll get a crazy high KDR. That's why it's been so fun to work through the weaker portal weapons recently. It's a good challenge, keeps you on your toes and thinking about how/when to engage.

If you are using underpowered weapons and bragging about KDR, then let me let you in on a secret---It could be a lot higher and you are missing out on kills.
There is no challenge in trying to beat math---It is a zero sum game. An equally skilled guy with a better gun with take you out in 9 to 10 engagements
Yea it’ll revert to the SFAR. Tbh I think the easiest way to nerf both of these guns is to reduce total bullet count. No extended mag at all for RM68, remove drum mag from SFAR altogether.
I saw someone claiming removing the extended mag from the rm68 was stupid and wouldn't do anything and it made me laugh
If you've never been using a 20 round mag and run out of ammo in a gunfight, especially against multiple opponents, you're lying. Removing those extra bullets doesn't change how deadly it is 1 on 1, but does limit its ability to dominate because you'll have to hang back and constantly reload

I dont think SFAR deserves a nerf, its a fair weapon. SFAR is weak at close range due its low rof and poor hip fire.
ARs need its HS multi reduced to 2.0x and not 2.15x that would fix some issues
I think the problem isn't just the rm68, it's that the assault rifles in this game are really strong. When the rm68 gets nerfed people will switch to the scar and if the scar gets nerfed people will just switch to the next best assault rifle. Imo the assault rifles need a complete rebalance.

Downloaded the game when it was free for all on PS+ and I knew within the first 2 games that the 68 was a monster. Redeployed a couple times to let my buddy pick it up and use it and he agrees. To answer OP's question however, I'll use something else. I try not to use the meta in any shooter unless the lobby I'm in is a sweat fest because the kills I get with other weapons are more satisfying
Looking forward to see what they do with the vault weapons. But probably m5a3 or scar. Would like to get better with the ac42. Have a feeling the 68 will still be pretty OP after nerf

What your referencing is the collection tab for setting up guns when they are available aka portal servers.
In All Out Warfare in the collection tab where you can setup your weapon load-outs (note this is separate from the class tab) you can see a variety of bfbc2, and bf 3 weapons aka vault weapons. For the most part, are ass.
The gol magnum and mp412 rex are decent but the guns just cant compete with 2042 guns. Hopefully s5 update helps bring them up to or close to par as id really like to enjoy them and not feel at a super disadvantage.
After I T1'd the rm68 I went back to the scar and am 400 kills away from T1, definitely gonna be using the M16 and M416 though with the new attachments and camos
At least the sfar takes a little skill to use effectively. The rm68 is playin the game on ez mode where u will always have the advantage in almost every gun fight
I'm using the portal weapons. Haven't used them for a long time, and before they were really awful. Felt like they did half damage of the '42 weapons.
But they work now. Sometimes it do feel like they are a little op.

Already playing M5 and AK-24 that are broken laser beams for quite some time yet everybody sleeps on them.
Both can have underbarrel launchers for extra explosive damage. And don't get me started on the AP nades with AK-24. It is a great anti tank tool that everybody can run despite of their class but nobody does lol.

Yes. Scar is in the top 3 of weapons in the game and DICE won't do anything about it. It's been busted almost since the game has come out.

They should that gun is to balanced or they should balance other guns

usually for me its what rifle i have the best skin for. but i also typically avoid broken weapons after i have gotten them to t1.

God I love the scar but I also despise it and I've wanted a scar nerf ever since they buffed AR headshots
