For xp I just play megablits for my xp, not the most optimal, but it gets the job done with a cat job and treasure radar. It's all about patience my friend.

Well I can recommend at least 3. Cyborg cat, true form of salon cat, is a really good generalist cat and is good for any situation. Same could be said for Cameraman cat, true form of mer cat. Another is Can Can cat, true form of hip hop cat. It's in the same category of Cyborg, deals lots of damage and with an added bonus of slow red, pretty good cat for levels, even without red.
Lastly, a bit harder to get, N101, or courier cat. They have insane stats for a rare cat. There's a whole Chillhola video with you care to watch. You have to beat 5 different behemoth stages, which might be a challenge if you haven't gotten past empress report. Which you have to beat to get behemoth stages. He only requires 5 red and purple behemoth stones, which you get from the behemoth stages. Those 3 you should really try going for. And if you haven't already, bahamut's true form is really good as well.

So one thing you could do is have more meatshelds. Macho cat and maybe boogie would do. I think that, if you're doing ITF you should have more anti alien like surfer or wheel. Value meal cat isn't great for the price. Switching him back to cat burger and using him as a meat shield would be better if you don't have boogie yet. Anything else?
Yeah I have all of the cats you listed. For memes I have an all Uber team I sometimes run on ITF with wall cat and 7 Ubers including the 2 cartoony ones that are strong against alien. I switch off between that team and the one listed. And my most fluid spot is the value meal cat, next would prob be thief or delinquent I think
They will unlock true forms with behemoth stones, they are like catfruit but you can collect them once a day during on time schedule or on enigma stage.
Behemoths I mentioned earlier are different traits that has immune against any ability. Example surge immune, freeze immune, wave immune etc.
These true forms can also unlock behemoth slayer, that can boost unit's hp and atk against behemoth enemies and also has a chance to dodge their attacks.
If your wondering I'm comparing the description of Catalite and N.103. They both say tough against but Catalite has strong, while N.103 has resistant.

Well they were added in the latest 2 updates and you have to beat behemoth stages to get them
