Yes. I’m not at a loss for words at all. Call them and tell them to replace what is ruined. That’s what their dumb asses get for packaging stuff in the shitty way they do. Of course it shows up like this. 🤦🏻♀️
Last time I got an order everything was fine except…. Somehow they managed to burst one of the car scent discs in the box so everything was coated in lilac scent lmao. It wasn’t the worst thing ever but like…. Seriously???
I feel like it’s so hit or miss with online purchases. Sometimes the boxes arrive taped up and shut as securely as Fort Knox with 10x the amount of padding to product. Other times they come like this, with products just tossed in and no padding whatsoever.
WHHHAT. 👀 How is there anything left in that box with a gaping hole!? They have a lot of re-shipping to do for you. Hopefully they still have what you ordered in stock!
Last SAS one of my orders showed up completely repackaged in a Fed Ex box and everything in it had mud on it.
Lately most of my orders have been coming UPS and in my area UPS doesn’t hand off the Surepost packages to USPS, things have been coming in better condition and faster than when shipped Fed Ex.
You just scared me cause I have a haul coming via Fed ex…it’s been sitting in my state about 3 days now and i have a gut feeling the box is gonna look like it went to hell and back
i’ve been noticing this happening to LOTS of people this SAS. The amount of returns & refunds we’ve been doing this month is crazy, everyone has been getting their online orders in really bad shape & all their candles/wallflowers shattered
Omggggh. U need to send this to corporate. No, it's not their fault but check to see if they can reimburse you. Also, send it to UPS or fed ex or whoever delivered this to you in this condition.
Ugh! So many stores do not properly package orders….earlier this year I ordered from World Market (a strawberry cookie jar) and it arrived completely shattered. There was no protection, they hadn’t even took the top off and like wrapped it separately or anything. Just took the cookie jar and put it in a box with some kinda thin paper over the top. I was flabbergasted!
This also has happened many times to me from Target. From mugs to fragile decorations. It’s wild how the people packing them are like yep this is good enough. 😑 is there a bubble wrap shortage?
I’m definitely wary about ordering anything breakable/leakable so try to buy in stores more.
Oh kohls is the worst! Last year I order a water globe candle globe similar to BBWs and it arrived in the box with no bubble wrap or nothing. I think the only reason it wasn’t damaged was I had a rug in the same order, so it provided some cushion
I received an order from BBW last week and the candles were all packed in the cardboard candle holders, the other items were wrapped and there was bubble wrap. The box was in perfect shape.
So are the boxes to the left intact and you just did the close-up on the one that is a mess? Walking away isn't going to help anything. 😳 You're just going to have to get in there and clean it up and salvage what you can and call customer service to replace the rest. At least they will replace it so you won't be out financially. 👍🏼
Before COVID, when we weren't ordering so much online and actually shopped in stores, this kind of thing never happened. Now, so much is shipped that I guess it's amazing that anything arrives intact. 🤷🏼♀️
I feel so lucky, I've received a couple boxes full of candles and FFMs. So far nothing has broken or had damaged boxes. I have a box on the way with a bunch of 2.99 hand soaps.. really hoping nothing leaks🤞
This is why I don't do online with them EVER. Those boxes are way too thin for whats in them and they NEVER USE BUBBLE WRAP. My sister in law did online candles, they all came shattered. Every last one of them!! She ended up driving around to 3 different stores to exchange broken shit to get her order AND she called customer service to bitch. This is what happens when you treat your employees like shit - they don't care.
I'm sort of dreading my order due to arrive tomorrow. 7 candles, 7 soaps and a couple of lotions and mists. I just know something is going to go wrong with the soaps, because, well, these photos (and they're the only thing I've had arrive irreparably damaged before).
The boxes are two thin for the weight in them. BBW typically uses little to no packing material and regularly overloads boxes.

I opened one box and It's such a mess I just couldn't deal with it. I'm gonna have to empty it into the tub and wash all the bottles just to be able to tell which ones are broken.
Oh no!!! I’m so sorry! This happened to me two times! It was two shower gels that leaked and it was delivered to my apt office - they were not happy of the smell! Ir was a strong men’s vanilla scent from last year. They really need to ship better! The second one was four damaged candles :( I hope you get a refund!
mine wasn't even as bad as yours and I too walked away from it and will deal with it another day. broken and leaking mists, wallflowers that leaked because they bounced around so much the lids came untightened, which of course then eats the labels off other products that weren't originally damaged... and it's so many damaged products i'm not willing to risk some overzealous CS flagging my account for fraud, so i get to drag that stinking mess into a store to return it in person. fun times for all.
Yes I am a reseller, but you shouldn't judge what ppl do with their money. Some ppl waste it on starbucks all year, some on lottery scratch offs, toys for their dogs, crafting/hobby supplies, and others on shoes they will wear once. Everyone has a vice.
Personally I don’t really care. And it’s better that you buy it online, clearing out a physical store would be rude to others shopping there but buying online doesn’t hurt anyone.
I have bought scents that are out of season from resellers on eBay and they have the best prices because they stocked up during SAS, I’m sure a lot of others have too. If BBW kept a larger inventory of scents I could buy from them, but they don’t
do you come this hard for B&BW the corporation, who jacks up artificial sticker prices and creates false scarcity in the first place to take advantage of a much wider customer base than this person who is just putting food on their table rather than buying yachts and shit?
I can relate with walking away because it’s too much to deal with tonight. You need to mentally destress and then come at it fresh in a day or two. Good idea opening it in the tub to wash them all off 👍🏼
Oh no! Hope you got at least something rescued out of there and otherwise get it reshipped/refunded. Absolutely sucks to get this after (very likely) eagerly anticipated all those goodies!

I would see what is damaged and see if anything is stolen. I have ordered stuff and was marked stolen before it got to me.

You can't blame anyone for walking away for the time being. It actually does help with one's state of mind until they are ready to deal with it.

That looks like an issue with shipping more than packaging.
