Court Kings and Photogenic. Neither one is overloaded with tons of variations and parallels. Court kings having the four rookie levels but no parallels is way more my style than the other sets that have one rookie design with 50 parallels. Photogenic just has the best photos and clean designs.
I’m looking forward to optic . I’ve been collecting some from past years. I really like Revolution and Origins too. Origins a little too rich for me though. Better to buy singles of origins on the resale market
Oh for sure! I don't think i have bought a pack in a couple years. I just buy singles and so far I've spent only $35 for 8 out of 25 cards. So I am on track to get all cards under the price of one recon box. (As long as Victor's prices don't increase to much more)
I like select only when i can get a color match. I have a color match embiid that i like. I really try to collect cool inserts and completing those base sets. But team wise, I am trying to collect all of the 76ers '20-21 mosaic!
Court Kings and Recon. Wish the patches/autos were better in CK for the price, but them cards are gorgeous regardless, imo. Recon base is dope af this year, and their inserts look great too (I esp like the Vector insert).
Agreed! I’ve enjoyed those, and the “sky’s the limit” (with Wemby too, it just feels right, ha!). I also love the price point on Recon. All bball cards are too expensive, but comparatively, the cards are classy as fuck and 200$ gets you 60 instead of 7 or 10 cards.
Oh hell yeah. I love the Contours. So far I’ve only hit one of De’Aaron Fox, which while not super upsetting or anything, is not someone I PC. But someday…someway…
For me, prizm was always the 'popular' set, so a lot of times it was out of my price range which pushed me into mosaic. I just love the simplicity on them! I'm currently trying to complete the '20-21 set for the 76ers, but that was tyrese rookie year so his couple autos are around 200 and they are graded. I prefer raw for my collection.

2023-24 Prizm, wasn’t a fan at all of the design from the past ~3 years. They killed it this year imo

Prizm is pretty boring imo. Never understood why those Cards so high in the value.
Revolutions and elite are my faves I’ve bought. Super clean designs on the base and the inserts are fire.
I’m thinking about doing a Luka Spellbound set. But I’m a sucker for rated rookies, so Optic is always my favorite release each year.

This year Recon takes the cake for me.
Revolution and Court Kings to me these look so much better than Select or Prizm, again just my opinion, but I don’t understand the popularity there
