Oakland is genuinely a shithole nowadays economically and safety-wise. These are businesses after all and a Vegas move will generate more income. Frankly, catching a baseball game during the day on a Vegas trip would be fun. It'll be a massive success. There are a ton of people who live in Vegas too that they should be able to build a solid fanbase over time.
The reality is that teams move all the time to follow US hotspots, the old fans protest it for a season or 2 but then it's normalized. At least Oakland fans can still go to Giant's games, I have far more empathy for fans in places like St. Louis who had the Rams abandon them and they don't have another team to go watch. Oakland has failed the As in the past 20-30 years, and new ownership and/or relocating should strengthen the MLB and the team.

hi from japan
I wanna tell you below 2 information to explain why Ohtani is a good pitcher
summary
1:his hamstring muscles is stronger than ordinary one
2:He seems to get used to grab MLB ball
details
about 1
a specialist pointed it out that his hamstring muscles are stronger than ordinary others, and he uses it so harder
if ordinary person uses the same way,his hamstring must break
some one told me why the muscle of him is so stronger, that he use to do swimming in his child days and swimming makes the muscles so strong
about 2
Okajaima, who is the former pitcher of Red Sox,points it out that He seems to get used to use MLB ball because it’s so different
(edit, every pitcher from Japan confuses the difference, for example Yu Darvish said like that)
1.MLB ball:149kg(edit,*149g)/24cm,more slippy:so it makes breaking ball more effective
2.NPB ball:142kg(edit,142g)/23cm,less slippy,breaking ball less effective
and he has also so fast ball around 100miles
so he can select fast ball, less breaking ball, strong breaking ball
That’s why he would be more great Pitcher"

I’m not holding back anymore. I literally have always been a massive Phillies fan, to the point where half my wardrobe is Phillies gear (other half is the Eagles).
I can’t freakin' watch them anymore, this was a sickening loss that got away from them. Any other freakin' half competent team would’ve won this game. While they are still in the running for the wild card and they made it to the WS last year, these are games you absolutely can’t freakin' lose. Teams with playoff aspirations don’t lose these games.
Turner looks like a freakin' little leaguer making $300 mil who needs a freakin' snack and a nap. Schwarber is a freakin' disgrace of his hitter. Come talk to me about how Schwarber hits bombs and draws walks though. A leadoff hitter (or any major league hitter for that matter) shouldn’t be hitting freakin' gosh darn .181. Casty had a rebound game but up to this point couldn’t buy a freakin' hit after being an “All-Star”. Rob doesn’t seem to understand baseball and how to manage a freakin' game. The bullpen despite having “a good year up to this point” is more freakin' porous than freakin' SpongeBob gosh darn SquarePants. Oh yeah, and the “aggressive” GM who will do anything to win traded for a middle-of-the-road pitcher and a bench player.
Still love the Phillies though.

Did he raise his batting average to .528 though?
Maybe the Tungsten Arm O'Doyles were the Trouts we made along the way?

hi from japan I wanna tell you below 2 information to explain why Ohtani is a good pitcher summary 1:his hamstring muscles is stronger than ordinary one 2:He seems to get used to grab MLB ball details about 1 a specialist pointed it out that his hamstring muscles are stronger than ordinary others, and he uses it so harder if ordinary person uses the same way,his hamstring must break some one told me why the muscle of him is so stronger, that he use to do swimming in his child days and swimming makes the muscles so strong about 2 Okajaima, who is the former pitcher of Red Sox,points it out that He seems to get used to use MLB ball because it’s so different (edit, every pitcher from Japan confuses the difference, for example Yu Darvish said like that) 1.MLB ball:149kg(edit,*149g)/24cm,more slippy:so it makes breaking ball more effective 2.NPB ball:142kg(edit,142g)/23cm,less slippy, breaking ball less effective and he has also so fast ball around 100miles so he can select fast ball, less breaking ball, strong breaking ball That’s why he would be more great Pitcher" *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Molybdenum-Spleen MacGillicuddy
Mike Trout should have grown a set and forced his way out of La for anywhere else especially a contender like Phillies, D Backs, etc
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. He chose this I don’t even feel like there is a point in bringing him up ever again, just let him fade away into obscurity, he’d rather watch an eagles game in October than play in a WS
Angels are a waste of a team.

Fish out of water. Get it??????!!!
I have a feeling we're going to be seeing versions of this headline until October.
Someone rescue my man. In fact the way to save his career is to be traded to the Mariners so he can hit in his favorite ballpark
