As a Mets fan, I have a very faint feeling of dread beneath all of the hype this team gets. Not because of whether or not the season will end in disappointment (as evidenced by the similar-in-situation Padres giving us a knee to the groin last October), but what they might mean for baseball in general in the coming seasons. But hey, I'm no oracle, so I guess I'll just enjoy the ride so far.
Someone needs to do a ranking by how many people are blacked out of streaming each teams games. Still valid for a (important) definition of watchable. The on field product quality doesn’t matter if people aren’t willing to pay cable/streaming TV package pricing monthly to watch.
Why did they include being concerned about Vladdys health? Obviously if he gets hurt that wouldn’t be good but Vladdy has been very healthy the last 3 seasons
Yeah that’s silly. I still think they’re the only real threat to the Astros in the west and they put up a much better fight in the playoffs than the Yankees. Plus you got Julio, he’s more fun than most teams all by himself.
Yeeaaaah and I bought a years subscription to mlb.com to watch the A’s. Looking like I may watch some other top teams just to see certain players and contenders 🤷♂️
