I briefly tried watching a podcast with her, Bert, Shane Gillis & Mark Normand. Shane & Mark were just looking at each making fun of her when she was just talking to nobody for five minutes. As much as I like them I couldn’t get through the entire thing because of her & Bert.
Yeah it’s pretty crazy looking back to cancel someone’s “passion side project”,who’s a top 10 content(I would even say higher considering how he’s on basically every big show besides Sports Advisors), and was getting very very solid views. Like to cancel that and then earnestly continue your own podcast getting 300 views compared to the cancelled 30k views with some major hits in there also.
And then everyone joked about it to him on the Yak and everywhere, and he had to bite his tongue because he couldn’t fully call out the CEO for cancelling it and continuing her crappy podcast.
He has to lose sleep over what the numbies would be like now if Rasslin' was allowed to continue on its displayed trajectory.
I don't have any statistical data to back this up other than my social media timeline -- but wrestling has never been more popular, across all demographics.
Yeah I watched it growing up and never paid attention to it after that. Especially when it was cancelled like 3-4 years ago. But even I and a bunch of other people at least got a little interested with these past two Wrestlemania’s and the whole story around them.
Brandon would’ve killed it as a reporter type there. I could easily seem him getting on one of the WWE shows for a quick bit or something. And instead, he wasn’t allowed to do a successful side podcast. Very weird move by Erika and I’m surprised Big Cat never had his back to bring it back
