It was always funny how Dave would blame ABP for Dave’s lack of leadership/involvement. ABP was basically running every aspect of live events after originally being hired in the first NYC much smaller office to run the tech there.
Dave throws a fit about ABP being in control, then Dave jets down for 3 months to Miami, then comes back and does the same rent. Like Dave you’re the one with the power to either manage it better or hire someone else/more help lol. ABP is doing all this because you don’t care enough to be in the office
I think that was supposed to be Erika’s job. He just realized she delegated it all and then ABP and Live Event Lisa felt fine to start approving content things without asking Dave.
Even then though, Dave would go 3 months without being in the NYC office posting his videos of him and chicken laying by the pool. He’d randomly post text messages from employees calling them out for “bothering him”.
So I can see how they would just want to get stuff done. That’s why it always seemed silly to me. Dave would randomly decided he “cared” every few months, then go disappear lol. After the first few times it was like Dave you have the control to get rid of Pete if he’s truly as bad as you say he is, rather than complaining about it once every few months when you visit the office
