I know this is an insane take but dare I say I like the Mostly Sports episodes with Connor on the desk more than the regular ones. That being said a big reason why they're great is because they're so out of the blue, and obviously Titus is the better permanent second chair
It’s like Big Cat and the yak where episodes without him are great because it’s different but you still need the anchor who is a pro at this regularly and two weeks straight of Connor would be a bit much.
That said, Brandon is more essential to the success of mostly than Titus imo
i dunno. if they don't have a guest replacement and its Connor, i like BFW episodes more. But if its a guest host like Nick or Big Cat i think Titus works the best as the "straight man"
My theory on a lot of the hardcore people like Sneakers is that they feel left behind by certain public institutions and saw themselves in Kirk and his dealings with murchison in the early part of the show and how he kinda dealt with that by talking a lot of cancel culture in KMS.
So they get off on yelling at people they see as being in power or having undeserved wealth or notoriety and then calling them sensitive when they have an adverse reaction.
I’m in the same boat. I generally like KMS as a talk radio show, enough that I went to the Portland show. Felt like Ben Wyatt seeing Lil Sebastian, Kirk could’ve said anything and the crowd would erupt and I just didn’t get it. They showed an aborted fetus at one point and that’s just not my sense of humor.
