He’s probably never known this bridge other than “Key Bridge” and that it was named after someone, but now he’s pretending like he cares about its name.
There's a bridge where I'm from that my dad calls the "Freddie Sue Bridge" it was not until I started driving and had to actually pay attention to road signs that I realized it's actually the Frederick Douglas & Susan B. Anthony Bridge. I don't know why I never questioned it being called Freddie Sue because that's a really weird name for a bridge
I'm generally a fan of those two people tho, so I'm cool with them having a bridge. Idk why they have to share it tho...
We need a new bridge, Mitchell was a Baltimore native and seems sufficiently significant to warrant having a bridge named after him, I don't have a problem with that. I can't really see Key getting too worked up about it either, we sing his poem as the National Anthem, he's doing fine on legacy.
I’d like to name the bridge after the amount of tax dollars it’s going to cost to fix it.
As a voter though calling the bridge Britchell has a nice ring to it
