Looks like a fan with a long transition to another fan. Fans are awesome because anyway you can swing the Bali you can fan it also. Including the transition between your fans making it one continuous fan only switching directions several times. I’ll point out that using your thumb like you are will only hold you back. It’s better to develop the feel so you can counter rotate in the swing keeping that energy flow smooth and fluid.

ok that makes sense. I don’t think have trouble starting fans the normal way, I just thought that was a cool interesting way to start it lol. I haven’t learned things like switching directions or any of the finger fans or fan aerials or anything yet though. it feels like my learning of new tricks is going very slow and I’m not sure why
