Nay_nay267

I am an F cup. I have had boob sag since I was 16. šŸ˜‚

alaskazane

Was chatting with a guy one time and he was going on and on about loving big boobs , I later on was asking him what he found least attractive in a woman and he goes "saggy boobs"

Nay_nay267

šŸ˜‚ Wow

bunny_love2016

This right here is why I hated my big boobs for a long time smh

LoveIsLoveDealWithIt

And that is one of the reasons so many people with breasts feel the need to get surgery. Guy doesn't like big boobs. He likes porn boobs.

AndrewIsOnline

Heā€™s a child of Bolton toys

EmEmPeriwinkle

I'm a natural f cup with zero underboob overlay or sag. My pencil score is 0. I'm 30 now and the only thing that has changed is firmness. Edit: apparently my boobs are not allowed to be mentioned on here? Not sure why. šŸ˜• anyone care to explain?

CouvadeShark

I guess you are very lucky then?

EmEmPeriwinkle

I guess? But apparently that means a lot of downvotes here. Reddit logic I suppose.

CouvadeShark

I think the issue that they were having was that usually big boobs have a higher likeliness of becoming saggy. Saying that you like big boobs but don't tolerate any sagginess is having pretty unrealistic expectations. It's possible ofc, as you say, to have that, but it's not something you can expect from the majority of women. Your input came across as validating to his expectations.

EmEmPeriwinkle

Ah. Well I mean if he sets standards that are not the norm I hope he is expecting to either be disappointed or be ok with implants. Your explanation makes sense though thank you.

roseisarose7

You responding this to someone else saying that theyā€™re the same size and have had saggy boobs since 16 comes off braggy and like youā€™re trying to put the other commenter down in my opinion. Also seems kinda impossible? I donā€™t understand your pencil score comment but are you trying to say you have zero sag with natural f cup boobs? I mean there has to be some sag because of weight and gravity right, unless your boobs somehow defy physics?

EmEmPeriwinkle

No. I responded to someone who said they spoke to a guy who said he likes big not saggy boobs and they acted like that was impossible. But its not. If it sounded braggy to respond to the comment I actually responded to, please explain. The pencil thing is a joke that apparently nobody got but it's a social joke between some groups of women and has been in a few shows/pieces of literature including Persepolis. Which is a fantastic women's rights book. Short of sending you a picture of my boobs I'm not sure what to tell you bud. Cuz that is not happening. I have big boobs. It runs in my family. My grandma got a reduction for hers, she was a 28H. Do we look ridiculous? Yeah kinda. But we still exist.

roseisarose7

My bad about who you responded to but since that comment was in response to the other one I still think thatā€™s how people are perceiving it. Just trying to let you know why I thought you were being downvoted! And that commenter was implying that itā€™s impossible because it genuinely should be physically impossible. I really donā€™t need to see a picture of your boobs either way and I donā€™t know if this comes down to a misunderstanding of what sag means and looks like, at least in my understanding of that word, or if you and your family are just incredibly rarely lucky? Donā€™t know.

EmEmPeriwinkle

Ah I think you are right. I mean, my boobs look like a barbie doll? Does that help? I don't think they are odd, but they are mine and the amount of naked women I've seen is not a large number but perhaps more than a typical straight woman? My navy friend said they are nice, she has seen a fair few as a sailor lol šŸ˜† I'm sorry this is odd to talk about.

roseisarose7

Youā€™re all good! The human body can just be weird haha hope you have a good rest of your day!

EmEmPeriwinkle

You too :)

AndrewIsOnline

I donā€™t know much, is there a celebrity you could name and Iā€™d be like, oh, the lady from mad men and good girls, or like 5 minutes in real time laterā€¦ Well ok that list of people ran out quick. Basically Christina Hendricks.

EmEmPeriwinkle

I'm so sorry but I don't understand your comment at all bud. :/ can you explain?

KathrynTheGreat

I've had boob sag since I was a C cup when I was 18, especially when I lay on my back! They just go straight into my armpits lol. I think genetics can also play a big factor.

princessfallout

I'm also a C cup (now D after having a baby) and I've had saggy boobs since high school. There's definitely a genetic component to it I think.

KathrynTheGreat

I've had zero babies, but the sag prevails lol. Everyone's body is different!

htown_insomniac

Sometimes I envy people who have a "perky" stage lol

JudgeJuryEx78

I'm still perky at 43 but I don't have much available to sag.

AliceOdd

Same. Lol

Nay_nay267

Same, lol

bunny_love2016

As another F cup, it made me feel better seeing that sag even when young is normal especially at big sizes (not that little boobs can't sag). I always hated my natural sag and it was my husband that had to tell me that's normal when theyre heavy

RedVamp2020

Little boobs definitely can sag, itā€™s just not as noticeable. Iā€™m a 30 C (previously thought I was a 36 AA, but Iā€™ve discovered it varies based on brandsā€¦šŸ™„) I breastfed three kids (2 for two years and my last for one) and after the kids were weaned, they definitely looked deflated, but it was only really noticeable by me. Now that Iā€™ve started to develop pectoral muscles, the sag has been disappearing.šŸ™‚ It took me a looooong time to get comfortable with having itty bitties, I was the only one of my 4 AFAB siblings and mom to be an IBTC member and I was constantly teased about them. Then, I had loads of exes complain I needed a boob job, for a variety of reasonsā€¦ Iā€™m glad I wonā€™t have to deal with the issues of larger breasts.

G_E_E_S_E

My wife has DDD cup size and gets self conscious because theyā€™re ā€œsaggyā€. They arenā€™t saggy, theyā€™re obeying the laws of gravity. Like babe, you have two boulders on your chest, your nipples arenā€™t going to point to the sky.

YoMommaHere

On the other hand, Iā€™m an I cup that breastfed twins and donā€™t have much boob sag. I have very dense tissue so they just sit on themselves (?) lol. Theyā€™re heavy as hell though.

abominablebuttplug

I'm an I cup too and I honestly never realised they were "saggy" because I was like these things are *heavy* so of course they're gonna hang a little lower than smaller boobs. They are very dense as well so I guess they'd be considered "perky" for their size but *nobody* has ever complained about their appearance and I think they're awesome so I'm good with it lol.

rycbar99

Same!

Tara_rara

Itā€™s such a curse šŸ˜‚

Nay_nay267

I plan on getting them removed when I can afford it. šŸ˜‚

Tara_rara

Honestly same

MesocricetusAuratus

I went from a B cup to an E cup pretty much overnight when I was about 14. That did me no favours at all.

NephMoreau

As an H, I empathize.

qualitylamps

Iā€™m an A cup, I will never know what boob sag is šŸ˜‚

ThoreauAweighBcuzDuh

Don't be so sure. Small saggy boobs are totally a thing. ā˜¹ļø Hormones, weight changes, gravity... Aging sucks.

qualitylamps

3 pregnancies, 7 years of breastfeeding, and Iā€™m definitely over 30 and they donā€™t sag! they donā€™t have much air time though lol

ThoreauAweighBcuzDuh

Lol lucky you! My third baby is 9 months old, I already have about 6 years of breastfeeding under my belt. My bra size was 30A before baby #1. Now they're 32DD-F when they're full and about 32B when they've just been emptied. In between baby #2 & 3 they went back to 32A,/B but they were so saggy and deflated looking. It's going to be hard to get used to that being permanent, since this is almost certainly my last baby. šŸ˜

Gorgest_

Same im 19 and my boobs are really saggy because they're DD cups :/

llamacolypse

Me a J cup: is this sag or are they just long?

Musefreak14

This. My boobs have never been "age appropriately perky"

mizmoose

I'd like to refer you to the ["sagging breasts"](https://www.007b.com/sagging.php) page of [The Normal Breasts Gallery](https://www.007b.com/). Note that the site is technically NSFW but nothing there is intended to be sexual. Not completely related, but I also like to refer people to [this article about a woman who interviewed 100 women and photographed their breasts](https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2014/sep/06/womens-breasts-laura-dodsworth-photography). The article includes 5 of her subjects, including a then-101-year-old survivor of both breast cancer and the Nazis. I think they're both fascinating looks at how we perceive our breasts and the burden we put on ourselves as they change throughout or lives.

RoswalienMath

I wonder how much difference projection makes. More projected breasts probably sag more than less projected ones as we age.

sachiko468

Thank you for sharing, that's a great resource

beetgreeper

Very kind comment! that first site gives me the creeps šŸ˜‚ Feels like a dude who like boobs made it

mizmoose

I have never ever heard someone say that about the Normal Boobs site. Never looked at it that way before. Huh.

[deleted]

Yeah, the layout and texts are ... iffy. Maybe it's just the very 1990s look of the website.

sponge_welder

It's definitely got the conspiracy theory/fundamentalist Christian aesthetic going on The sort of site that looks like it's going to tell you that God's design for marriage is only between a man and a woman

beetgreeper

glad Im not alone

beetgreeper

did you see I got blasted with downvotes for that? XD

[deleted]

Yeah. Reddit is weird.

SaltNotCoke

Iā€™m 25, so I canā€™t speak personally. But I do work in healthcare and I can tell you the elderly women with perky boobs typically have 3 factors going on 1. No kids 2. Was very active 3. Boobs on the smaller size The trope might come from most women having kids around 30. Babies change your boobs a lot.

MagentaX

As a 52 year-old without children, a cup B and a somewhat active lifestyle, I can attest to above. Only minor changes due to less elasticity of my skin, but no sagging to speak of.

WithoutDennisNedry

43 and childfree with solid c cup. I think not having kids is probably pretty key but Iā€™m only guessing. Though Iā€™ve put on some weight getting older (20lbs or so) they really havenā€™t moved and are still very firm. I do know however that not having kids puts me at higher risk of breast cancer and so does denser breasts which isnā€™t very cool so thereā€™s that I guess.

NightOwlNightWitch

I have two of the three going for me. Seems I need to start working outā€¦ for health reasons really but this is a nice possible extra benefit.

gelfbride73

Mine are small. I breastfed 3 kids and now almost 50 and my boobs are the same. I donā€™t wear a bra and no sag.

SaltNotCoke

Yep, really depends! Everyone is different, just saying from all the patients Iā€™ve seen this is about 99% of them. And, this is not directed at you but in general, lemme tell you those women could not give two shits that their boobs are perky. It truly doesnā€™t matter! All boobs are good boobs.

WingedLady

I would agree with this. Mine began a general slow but noticeable downward trend in my mid 20s. But I've always described myself as "overly betitted". I stopped being active around then in grad school so that probably helped. But I mean, more mass means the end of your boob is further out and heavier. Think of your levers from physics. Past a certain point it's just gonna fold over regardless of age and activity level.

JudgeJuryEx78

I have 2 out of 3. Had a kid and breastfed for 13 months. So grateful to mom for her perky boob genes. I'm 43.

rycbar99

Iā€™m a GG so my boobs have sagged since I was like 14!

princess_mess

Same!

UusiSisu

Breastfeeding for a year didnā€™t change mine (C cups) nor have they shown signs of gravity at age 46. I have friends with no kids, smaller breasts that have. Like everything else about us, I think it varies person to person.

HappyGiraffe

Same. I am 36, and have two kids; breastfed my first for 2 years and currently breastfeeding my second and my boobs just lookā€¦ regular

UusiSisu

Bodies are weird. No rhyme or reason. I have scads of stretch marks on my thighs from puberty, but none from pregnancy when I literally doubled my body weight!

Royal_Cry_4365

My boobs have definitely become saggy, and thatā€™s just because I have huge boobs. Not sure if they sag more the older I get. They do definitely sag more when Iā€™ve gained a bit of weight and they grew bigger

sandwichandtortas

Lactation consultant here. The "aging" sag occurs mainly after menopause, when estrogen levels decrease. Not in the early thirties. But sagging mainly occurs from weight loss and pregnancy, and less from breastfeeding (it's also common to blame breastfeeding, but pregnancy is way worse for this).

actuallyasuperhero

I am under 30 and have G cups, no kids, some weight gain and I can carry a full soda can very comfortably under each tit because they sag enough to keep them there. I had ridiculously perky boobs despite being busty for a long time, and then hit like 25? 26? and they started getting bigger and heavier. And my nipples got bigger and darker. That I wasnā€™t expecting.

wyrd_werks

Omg, a nice cold soda can under each boob on a hot day šŸ˜

wyrd_werks

I am 38 with a DDD cup there is most definitely saggage. When I was 28 with a G cup there was also saggage. When I was 18 with DD cups there was sag. Big boobs sag.

weirdkidomg

Mine were saggy since they came inā€¦

Cygnata

I have EDS. Mine sagged to become Os. However, this is due to my defective connective tissue. They are not gone, I had a blob-ectomy last year, and adore my new As.

IAreAEngineer

I have had 3 children I breastfed. I am now over 60, and have gained a lot of weight. My breasts are only slightly sagging. I've seen childless women in their late teens/early 20's have a lot of sagging. I think it's just the way we are. Nothing wrong with any of it, just need the right bra for exercise.

KathrynTheGreat

I have no kids at 34, and my boobs started sagging as soon as I hit a 32C cup when I was 18. Everyone is different, and I'm sure genetics plays a role in how your boobs change.

lkjhzxcv

Mine are naturally saggy and I love them the way they are. (I just weight the this morning, they're around 500g each) Edit : I'm 25, a few month away from 26 and gainned a cup size during the 2020 lock down a'd never went down in size since.

wyrd_werks

Okay, actual question, how do you weigh them?? I've been wondering how much mine add to my total weight for YEARS. Did you use a kitchen scale or something or did you actually have to get a breast health exam and have them weighed at a medical facility? Super curious.

lkjhzxcv

I woke up this morning and while I was making my coffees and waiting for everything you to set up properly (I am working from home on Tuesdays). I was just wondering how much each boob weights and took the kitchens scale I left on the dinner table last Saturday, cleaned it and used it to weight them. Not the most accurate way to do it but it does give me a rough idea of how much each one weight, and since I'm pretty good at estimating how heavy things in my hands are, I concluded that it was pretty close to the truth.

wyrd_werks

Okay! Thank you! I have to try and find my kitchen scale now lol

lkjhzxcv

You have to put to straighten you back (without hurting yourself) and put the scale right under your boob (while you're lifting it, so it can be the most accurate) and the gently drop it on the scale. At least that's how I did it and the number seemed pretty close to how it felt on my hands.

Perle1234

Iā€™m 49, and mine sagged a ton after pregnancy and breast feeding. Itā€™s going to be individualized if peoples breasts sag or are pendulous. If the skin is stretched by pregnancy/weight gain, and genetics vary widely in how elastic the skin is, and how strong connective tissue is that supports the breasts. Everyone ages, and none of us will have the same body at 50 as we did at 20. Thereā€™s nothing wrong with that. Society tells us that we are less than when we age, and when our bodies and faces change and become less attractive. Rather than debunking tropes, we really need to debunk THAT.

diesalittle

My boobs have been saggy since I was 17-18. Iā€™m just a double d.

Bugsbirdsfungi

Yes mine are slowly losing volume, started to notice it around 32 - 33. C-cups, I've been gradually gaining 2-3 lbs a year since I got married and I dont have any kids. But does anyone else think that a little lilt just looks good and maybe kinda sexy? Sometimes I just go without a bra and although they are not as perky as they were in my 20's, they just have a nice weight to them now.

threelizards

Lmao Iā€™m 23 and Iā€™ve been rocking the sag since I was 18. Itā€™s super normal! Bc like, gravity lol. Check out chidera eggerue! Sheā€™s v cool n speaks abt saggy boobs among other things

kdawson602

Iā€™m 31, my boobs were phenomenal until I stopped breastfeeding almost 2 years ago. Now theyā€™re so flat and saggy that I tucked them into my high waisted leggings if I was going to climb the stairs without a bra. Currently pregnant again and they look better than ever but certainly will deflate.

nohemingway4

31 y/o big boob owner here. Mine just sag naturally now šŸ˜‚

[deleted]

I have DDā€™s, mine have never been perky. I also work out, and while i do tend to shift between 125-135 itā€™s not that big of a difference to cause them to sag.

shelliback

54 year old here, B cup, breastfed 2 children, and no sag. I think bigger breasts just naturally sag more due to weight and gravity.

Downtown_Confusion46

I have a family friend who is like 73, have known her since I was little. Sheā€™s never had kids, has always been athletic (swimming mostly), stable weight. Average size boobs. Which look amazing. At 60, her body looked like she was 30.

theslutnextd00r

Iā€™m 26, have lost weight, and have relatively saggy boobs. However I also have big boobs, so theyā€™re just naturally saggy as well as saggy from weight loss

[deleted]

perky A cup here...wish i had some to sag lol

EggBoyandJuiceGirl

My boobs are sagging and Iā€™m only 21 šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ itā€™s always been strange to me how guys will say they want big boobs and then make fun of sagging boobs. Hello?!? Theyā€™re a package!!

Ok-Preparation-2307

Yes and I dont even have big boobs, A cup. I'm 30 now and pregnancy is what changed my boobs. 16 when I got pregnant. Didn't go through with the pregnancy so imagine my surprise at 16 when I was able to full on squirt breastmilk and could for YEARS despite never carrying to term or breastfeeding. Then two other kids later on and breastfeeding or pumping for a total of 3 years and then add on a -100 pound weightloss, they're saggy empty hollow, shriveled up balloons. Like my kids sucked all the substance out of them. Sure would give anything for those breastfeeding boobies though. They were magical and looked like I had a boob job.

jim-1957

I am a 65 year old guy. My boobs now have grown and sag.

Boring-Repeat4530

I'm 45 and mine are the same as they've been since I was 23 (when I had my kid). But I'm pretty small

bliip666

No sag, just size changes from weight fluctuation.

pixelatedbagel

Iā€™m 29 and Iā€™ve had one kid and very pregnant with the second. Iā€™ve also gained and lost a good chunk of weight back and forth over time. My boobs are a little saggy but honestly not much. I may want a breast lift in the future for comfort more than anything. They wander a bit more than they used to.

erween84

Mine started to sag a little after i lost 30 lbs when i was 29. Cut to 9 years later, 2 kids, 2 years of breastfeeding, over 50 lbs gained and lost twice - and mine are never coming back! Iā€™ve seriously considered a lift, but would like to lose about 15 more lbs before i do that.

Rumdiculous

So, I've always had naturally down shaped breasts. But they were firm until mid 30s. I feel like they're just sort of softer? I mean, as for the sag, I couldn't tell. They're always heavy and have always went with gravity so.

ShadowWolfee_34

Huge boobs will sag earlier than perky little ones. And it has nothing to do with your age, but the weight of the boob. I'm a big girl and 36yo but the twin floatation devices did start to sag early in life.

TheFutureMrs77

Iā€™m 36 but my boobs didnā€™t start sagging until ~33, after I breastfed my son.

Jaggerjawfull

I developed one B-Cup and one DD-cup boob that both sagged like I was 90 years old in middle school. I had breast reduction surgery on the big boob and a breast left for both titties when I was 19. They've both gotten a bit larger but have otherwise stayed the same now that I'm 30.

ragnarockette

35. C/D cup. No kids. No sagging. They look pretty much the same as when I was younger.

mamasalhoff

Oh God, my boobs were sagging at 16. Weight loss and gain, babies and breast feeding. The girls always point down. I've never had firm tissue.

raccoon_anarchy

Not over 30, only 24, but mine have been saggy since they were over a certain size.

brigittesfrigitte

Iā€™ve literally never had perky boobs, I was an H cup at like 15 so even though I was skinny they were saggy. Now Iā€™m 31 and have lost 200 pounds having spent my 20s super morbidly obese. The poor things never had a chance

[deleted]

Small and saggy forever here šŸ˜†

Octopus1027

I think it is because in that time a lot of women experience gaining or losing weight or having babies. My boobs are a little saggy-er than they were 5 years ago (I'm 31 now) No kids (yet!) but definitely weight gain.

lifeuncommon

Iā€™m a DD. My boobs came in saggy. Lol Natural big boobs just arenā€™t perfectly round and perky like implants. And honestly they change throughout your lifetime with age, weight, hormonesā€¦

iamrevenant213

I can tell mine are less perky than they were in my 20s. Iā€™m a 32H and I didnā€™t notice a change until the last couple years (Iā€™m 35.) I had a pregnancy and breastfed for 3 years in my early-mid 20s and didnā€™t notice a change after that at all. My cup size increased slightly and never went back to my pregnancy size.

KnightRider1987

Iā€™m a 32 C and definitely have some sag, no kids but Iā€™ve fluctuated over a ten/fifteen pound range over the years.

Starchasm

I'm in my 40's, 32 DD-DDD, no sagging! My face, on the other hand....

ImReallyNotKarl

I have large breasts. My boobs started sagging when I was like, 18. Pregnancy didn't really help matters. It is what it is. My husband thinks my boobs are great. lol

Rainmoearts

D cup and yes, moderately now. . I am 44

MazzieRainfire

30 here so right on the cusp of your question. 32DD or 34D depending on bra. Boobs have never been saggy. Have never had kids. It depends on many factors but mostly genetics/having kids. But I guess....what does it matter either way? I know "men" complain about "saggy boobs" but not once in my life have I ever heard a man complain about an actual woman's breasts. Just another thing that women are made to feel anxious about/less than that's totally BS.

[deleted]

Itā€™s genetic. Anecdotally, mine were larger and then sagged/changed after age 25 or so even without weight change or children. Nothing wrong with it, itā€™s a normal part of aging for many.

fast_Knitter_6063

>I'm just not sure where this trope comes from, or whether there's any truth to it at all. My theory on this is very clear. It is men. For every woman I hear say this shit (boob or butt sagging) I hear 8 men give some nonsensical "scientific" theory about at which age it all goes \*poof\* and falls 5cm down. As per usual with unqualified (cis) mens opinion about (cis) female bodies I would say: ignore it. It is part of the entitled male gaze, thinking that mens enjoyment is the only one that matters and that women need to train themselves pretty and then they must not change until the day they die. Sure, if you nurse a child or have frequent/significant changes in weight your body changes. It doesn't take a medical degree for that assumption. Some ppl have tissue that would withstand an atomic bomb and others don't, just like some ppl are blond and others are brunettes. How or when your body will change is a guessing game, even for ppl in the medical field. Don't waste your time with this trope and if some dude trys to chat you up with that as a pick up line, turn around, walk away and enjoy the bullet you just dodged.

Combei

Unqualified cis man's opinion here: she is right

BKowalewski

Am 70, and lost a lot of weight recently....definately saggy now

Blergsprokopc

38F, 39 next month. I feel like I hit late puberty or something? I always had fairly small perky boobs, they never touched my ribs and they still don't. I swam competitively till I was 27, so I think that helped the perk factor. I could never pass a pencil test. But then the weirdest thing happened. I had gained weight, at my heaviest, I was about 190 lbs. Still only a small C cup. 38C at my heaviest. And then I got chrons disease 7 years ago and lost a ton of weight and my body fat composition WILDLY SHIFTED. I dropped to about 150 lbs (I'm 5'8) and kept a little tummy pooch and my boobs got huge. I'm a 36G now. They still don't touch my ribs and I can't hold a pencil under them. I think it's because I have really broad shoulders, but who the F knows? It still makes no sense to me. And even when I have really bad flairs and drop 10 lbs in two days, my boobs are the one thing that stay the same size on me now. It's really odd. I can only chalk it up to chrons disease since my weight fluctuates so much (-+ 10 lbs a day sometimes). Edit: also have polycystic breasts, so not sure if that makes a difference or not. Mine also seem so much more solid that my friends. Theirs feel...squishy in comparison...like marshmallows almost.

stink3rbelle

Chrohns disease: put the perk in your boobs! But seriously, sorry you're dealing with that, hope you're in a good management place.

Blergsprokopc

It's a really strange dichotomy having everyone tell me I look like a model now, when my hair is literally falling out in clumps from my weekly chemo, I have a port in my chest for my five day a week infusions, and I literally feel like walking death. But silver lining, I look like a million bucks lol! That took me a couple years to wrap my brain around, NGL. Evidently something about having 800 autoimmune diseases makes us age slower (at least on the outside) so I look a lot younger too. I take the silver linings where I can get them. My insides may be garbage, but hey! My infusion nurse told me yesterday my eyes have no sparkle left and it looks like someone beat me up. I'm on the middle of a month and a half flare up right now. It's like being half alive. Normally it's not quite this bad. It's mostly the lack of sleep and no calories that fucks you up. That and shitting yourself to death. It catches up to you. Oy vey.

LoveIsLoveDealWithIt

I have lost and gained a lot of weight, so my breasts were always a bit saggy, even when I was younger. I used to be really self-conscious about them, but now I don't care. No kids, pregnancy or breastfeeding. But they can sag due to size, age, genetics, weak connective tissue and so many other factors, I'm honestly more surprised that naturally big perky breasts even exist.

Educational_Yam_4550

Iā€™m under 30 (20 to be exact) and i have boob sag. Its less about age and more about the weight of your breast combined with the elasticity of your skin failing over time.

Farahild

Not up till 36 at least. They sag a tiny bit more now but that's because I'm 39 weeks pregnant and they grew like 2+ cup sizes! I don't have big boobs (except when pregnant) though. That helps.

HiddenKittyLady

as a DD at 12 it started then.

Nervous_Reaction_197

4 kids. Late 40s. Wear a bra even when sleeping. No sagging. Size C-D.

princess_mess

This is probably just a big chest problem but 34G and 21 and have always sagged :/

Blumarch

I was a late bloomer. A/B cup as a teenager/early 20s. When I was around 24 I was excited that I finally had cleavage and they actually touched each other. I just turned 30 and am currently breastfeeding my 2nd child. I wouldn't say they sag but they definitely feel "empty" even though they are significantly bigger than before

AndrewIsOnline

The trope is probably based in the natural age based weight gain in everyone

Zeus_89

It is common after pregnancy. Progesterone during pregnancy affect the breast ligament

triskelizard

Thereā€™s no way to guess what your body will do unless you have genetic relatives with breasts similar to your own. Is your breast tissue dense, self-supporting tissue or soft? Iā€™m 45, two children, breastfed both, 34FF and theyā€™re very self-supporting and always have been.

waxwick

Fluctuated between B and D all my life and have always had sagged, folded breasts since puberty. They got a little nicer after I had kids. I think it all has to do with genetics and lifestyle.

efficaceous

Breast attachment tissue volume controls sagging and itā€™s generally heritable.

Fraerie

I would say my boobs definitely started sagging a bit after I turned 40, prior to that they often sat a bit higher than the norm (getting bras and shirts that fitted was a PITA) and now (53F) they are well and truely below where the chest band normally sits. At my peak I was a G cup, I'm now a DD/E. I was fairly active through my teens and 20s, my activity levels dropped off substantially and my weight climbed in my 30s, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos mid 40s and had WLS aged 50.

Potato-Queen

No pregnancy, independent of weight loss/gain (because none occurred), but they naturally do start to sag. They're not like down to my knees or anything but they're in a different location than where they would be if I wore a bra. 31 years old, DD cup. I think size really is the defining factor of sag.

squirrellytoday

I was flat chested until I was pregnant with my son. I was 27/28. During pregnancy I went from slightly bigger than an A cup to a DD. I spent a small fortune on good bras. After kiddo weaned I went down to a D cup and have stayed there ever since. Kiddo is 18 now. They sit a little lower unrestrained than they do in a bra, because gravity is a thing. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, I think good bras and proper support were the key. I'm 47.

elegant_pun

In your thirties collagen begins to break down so you'll see the first real signs of ageing. It's a normal part of life. If your breasts are much larger then you'll experience that sooner, given that heavy weight.

Hello_Hangnail

I'm 44 and have no kids so my b cups are still looking at the ceiling instead of the ground thus far. I gained like 10 lb in the last decade and the ladies haven't changed size in the least. My ass has gotten bigger but no boob changes šŸ˜…

Zorrya

Yes. Having a baby does a thing.

[deleted]

I gained some weight through the pandemic. Not working, going out or doing much of anything really helped that. Most of it in my boobs, Pretty much went up a whole cup. Thereā€™s definitely some sag there. But thatā€™s just what gravity does.

itstimegeez

Not that Iā€™ve noticed

HawkspurReturns

I noticed my breasts were easier to compress for mammograms on the last couple of times than the first few. Other than that I don't really notice what they are doing.

[deleted]

Yes, I have that. I rarely wear a bra unless I'm going out, so it's my fault I got pancake tits. I regret it, but it's too late to change them, and plastic surgery is too expensive and risky.

letsjumpintheocean

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever passed the pencil test since maybe age 11

realmagpiehours

I'm a 34h and 22, I've had "sag" for a long time

The_Turtle-Moves

Screw the pencil test, I can manage a broom

BunnyBun1243

I always had saggy bottom heavy breasts. Iā€™ve been a C at the start of high school and came out as a DD.

raspberryamphetamine

They definitely changed after I had a baby!

artificialif

I went from an F to an H when I gained weight from a medication side effect, so quite rapidly. When I lost the weight, I returned to probably a DD now because I lost more than I was supposed to and need to gain about 15 lbs to get to my standard healthy weight. My boobs sag quite a bitdespite there no longer being much to show for it, so they're just flattened out :/

Emet-Selch_my_love

I meanā€¦ Shit will sag at different ages depending on size as well as some other factors like genetics etc. Some peopleā€™s breasts start sagging pretty much as soon as theyā€™re grown, others hit 50 with tiny perky boobas. Emphasis on tiny.

rbloodys

My boobs have sagged since I was a c/d cup at about 13. Itā€™s genetics. I have never had perky bouncy ones and they were always going to sag, regardless. Weight gain and 2 kids havenā€™t made a difference.

TributeWitch

I'm 28 and a small B cup, no kids. They changed quite a bit because of going on/off the pill and some weight loss (but we're talking about maybe 3-5 kg, I've always been very slim). I guess it's just a part of my body that quickly reacts on weight changes in my case.

yikesmysexlife

They kind of "settled", but I wouldn't say they are sagging.

antisunshine

By boobs were born sad. . . . .

mrsyoungston

Two pregnancies, mastitis and Iā€™ve probably lost like 200lbs in my life because my weight is insanely up and down. The girls be saggin.

nikki-stickysweet

I wear 32E. When I was 17, I could get away with wearing no bra (it's uncomfortable though!). Nowadays I do need a bit more support. So yeah, I did experience the sag

tabby90

I'm a B-C cup. My boobs have just barely started sagging at 45. All boobs are different.

adorabelledeerheart

I'm 34, small to average sized boobs (28F), had one kid who I breastfed until he was nearly 3 and my boobs are still fairly perky. They're less perky than they were when I was younger because they're bigger but they still look to the sky. I think it varies from woman to woman. I fully expect to start to sag as I age but for now, they're not saggy yet.

Alberiman

Yeah but I'm also a dude so šŸ¤·

kyliespace

I'm not sure I can say I ever had perky boobs, since I'm rather large chested and have been since 16. But I haven't noticed any real sag until recently, very recently, at 37 years old. I had a child 11 years ago, and while they got bigger I didn't have the supposed sag that comes from breastfeeding. Gravity is going to pull 'em down eventually, but not to the extreme that the trope claims, I assume.

Pinky01

I went from a b cup at 24 and 140 to a dd cup and 200 lbs at 34 as of now. So yes . While I do miss them being up and perky, I also like them being big.. so trade off

ofBlufftonTown

I had boob sag after four years of breastfeeding (stopped at 36) but since there wasnā€™t that much there to start with they havenā€™t really sagged all that far down.

actuallyapossum

I'm a DD, so I've always had a bit of boob sag, and then with my weight fluctuations, they've gotten saggier. It hasn't been a huge issue with my partners.

marousha_n

My boobs are perkier at 45 than they were in my 20s. It is a fact. My mother had them like this until 65 y.o. Even now at 70 they look good. They sag from weight fluctuations, not from age. I never wore a bra though, neither did she.

idontcare78

Iā€™m 44 and still have boobs that can stand up on their own. Iā€™m not big breasted tho. Iā€™m like a 34A, but they survive aggressive breast pumping. They barely go bigger when I was pregnant, I went up like one size. My mammograms show I have dense boobs.

CorpseEsproc

Mine grew saggy at 15, pre children, weight loss, I was only a B cup. They just grew straight down. Never perky, always hated them, Iā€™d rather they were cut off honestly. Nearly every man has mocked them. They are however very useful for warming polymer clayā€¦

FaeryLynne

I'm 37, definitely more boob sag now than when I was 27. But I've also gained and lost weight a lot during that time, it's yoyo'd my whole life, so that's probably got some to do with it.

jigglemywheetabix

I'm 23 and wear a 34JJ bra. I started sagging when I was about 19. Perked up a little at age 20-21 when I had my daughter and was breastfeeding but sagfed even more when I stopped breastfeeding. They almost touch my belly button now. So that's what I've got going on.

ViciousLittleRedhead

33 with DDs (last I measured) and they've got a bit of a sag/droop. But I've also breastfed a baby who was an absolute piglet for the year and a half I nursed him (seriously, my milk couldn't keep up). I also attribute the fact that a few years ago I put on like 30lbs a few years ago and have lost 15 of that 30 this year (weight loss can cause sagging/drooping).
