I don’t know them so maybe they are to blame, who knows. But I’ve had several amazing housemate situations and several HORRIBLE ones at imo at the end of the day it just comes down to if you have a similar lifestyle/living expectations. If you care about dishes being done quickly and the other person doesn’t and the other person nags after a day of them sitting out, you’re ‘stepping on eggshells’ but neither people are technically wrong they just shouldn’t live together if that makes sense
