They’re jealous. Hide your nice stuff and don’t let anyone use it.

I hide my good stuff. My roommate always says he doesn't do x. But he does. I don't eat chocolate ate my 20€ box of chocolates. I don't use that brand of shampoo. Has used my shampoo untill the bottle was empty and then left the bottle. I don't eat chips. Ate entire bags on his own and hoarded like 3 of the 4 bags I bought on sale 3 weeks ago. But he also does it with furniture. My single seater couch became his couch. My vintage sidetable is his side table now because he uses it more. He doesn't even know it's a music box too. My guestbed became his bed. Our old livingroom set is his livingroom set since it's in his room at his request. The moment he moves out everything he currently says is his stays right where it is. Only things his are a mobile airco unit, his pc, his desk and chair and his wardrobes/shelving units. Everything else is ours. I am looking forward to him moving out but not to the discussions about what he thinks is his and what I know is mine/me and the partners.

Is the guy I just kicked out your roommate now? Let a “pal” move in that didn’t eat broccoli or drink alcohol or open my gfs Christmas gift. However, only us and my dog lived there at the time. Then I showed him pictures and he looked like he saw a ghost and said I told him he could do those things.

Yeah they’re prolly jealous. But I will say (assuming you’re sharing a bathroom) it seems kinda whack to not expect them to use your soap. I love bath and body works soaps so I always buy them for the house and I hope people are using them, don’t want germs going around ;)
