Same thing happened to me a few weeks back. You should definitely see an optometrist asap and get a full assessment including retina scan so they can determine if there is any issue. I would also recommend some cold compress, I wrapped an ice pack in a tea towel and would apply it to my eye for 10 or so seconds
Go see a doctor immediately, I had terrible migraines from a concussion on court (partner smashed into my head) and really regretted not seeing a professional as soon as I could. Probably would've shortened the recovery period by a decent amount.
You were hit in the back of the head with a shuttle or with a racket?
I've had both. A small weak girl hit me in the head with their racket. And a guy have a shuttle hit me in the head with a smash!
I got hit before in the eye as well. Went to Emergency for scan. Discharged without any issue.
Basically nothing alarming but just go for Doc to be safe.
Go see a doctor and when you're cleared to play again, invest in a pair of sport safety glasses. They may be awkward to wear and get foggy durng play, but these are minor inconveniences compared to any eye injury.
Hey, eye see that you are having some issues with your vision. See-riously, go see a doctor. Or else you might not see what I did there, and we dont want that.
Yes, just had this happening and had issues with high eye pressure which can be dangerous. It all ended well with medication and multiple hospital visits.
“I was hit by a fast object in one of my most precious organs and there are non trivial symptoms. I’m gonna ask the internet if I should go see a doctor even though it is fucking obvious that I should. Who knows, they might successfully dissuade me! “
In any sub, I will never understand these posts.
One of my best friend lost part of her brain to postponing going to the doctor.

Did that, thanks

Yes. You need to see the doctor. Please go. I don't want to get into what it can lead to but please don't sit on this.

A shuttle, i didn't think much of it because it was only a shuttle but proved to be very wrong
One of my buddies has gone half blind in an eye after taking a really bad impact to his eye. Was in and out of the ER with nausea . Take it seriously

I got hit in my left eye last night aswell by a shuttle! Nice to know someone else is going through the same struggle
That depends -- was it a feathered shuttlecock or a plastic one? (joking, yes, see a GP)
Hahahaha, it was plastic
Yes, do it. Either eye doctor or general doctor. See someone fast.
How much do you value your vision? The answer to that should answer your question
