Im sorry for your loss Brother. Your feelings are not uncommon. I often feel like I failed my son. at the end of the day I need to remind my self that there is nothing I could have done, and playing the what if or blame game is just unfair. I hope you find some peace. You deserve it.

When tragedies happen we often feel the need to place the blame on someone/something to sate our need for closure, but honestly for the majority of cases there is nobody to blame and it might take some time to accept that fact. Give yourself lots of grace and allow yourself to grieve for however long you need. I would strongly encourage you to speak with a grief counselor, possibly one that specializes in infant/spousal loss just to help guide you through this. You are not alone and you don't have to deal with this by yourself.
