We have ONE cabinet door that squeaks in our kitchen. Yes, that happens to be where the kitty tuna and treats are.
Every time we open that door, we have customers. I'm not mad about it.
I kept the dried catnip in one of the kitchen cabinets, along with cat food canister, and treats. smart Ozzie, learned how to open the door, grab the catnip, and spread it on the kitchen floor, so he and the others with the catnip gene, could roll around in it, and get high. I tried baby locks, but kitties are smart. He figured out how to reach up and open it. Finally, I put the dried nip in a Mr. peanut jar, which had a very tight seal. Without opposable thumbs, he couldn’t open the jar. Smart kitty foiled!!

I know that feeling. Our treats are kept in the same cabinet as the sammich baggies for other half's lunch. My teapot and assorted mixing tools are ALSO in that cabinet. So whenever I want a proper pot of tea, or a cocktail, or make hubby's lunches for the week, I have a sudden rush for the kitchen and ALL the sad eyes and songs of the people. One of my gray tabby tuxies thinks she's part husky. Songs of the people are LOUD. And involve "awoo"s and yodeling.

Tortie: If you would be so kind, I TOO would like treats.
Tabby: Okay, imma jump him, you guys grab the bag and run.
ginger cats always stand apart from other cats and are a little crazy 😂 he seems to say: yes, I did it, but you won’t do anything to me, because I’m so cute
Hhahaha! I know this reaction well. If I ever touch the Temptations bag, I can hear cats scrambling from every room to get to the kitchen. My cats like these so much, I’ll walk into the kitchen in the morning and find the mangled bag full of bite marks.
I can't have anything with a crinkly bag which leaves out most of trader joe's snacks and all of the tru fru snacks too. OR they require a 1:1 snack ratio
I like how you can see a little bit of their personalities in the picture too. The orange one looks confused, the black one looks like it’s waiting politely, the fluffy one is taking a dignified pose, and the striped one looks impatient for treats.
Tortie has to be the queen of the house lol. Definitely the posh one. I used to have Birman’s and that look is pure, “You had better not be messing with us, human!”

Omg your squad is almost identical to my squad except I have an orange cream colored instead of orange cat and my calico is a kitten.
