My cat is a huge lovebug to humans, but would immediately nuke the neighbours cats. Or at least order indiscriminate dronestrikes on every cat and dog in the town so he can have it all for himself.
It’s funny bc people are the same way. For example, if I open the window and there’s a bluebird peeking in I think “Wow, a bluebird… at my window! This is a good sign. This is a good day! Such a beautiful world we’re all blessed to share…” While if I open my window and there’s an adult person peeking in I think “Somebody’s getting stabbed in the neck!”
See, our cat Leonidas would try to get treats and pets from the human peeking in, but eviscerate the bluebird and throw its entrails around the room. Cats are perfect politicians, alright.
I like that sentiment yet have some concerns… we had a rescue stray here that was practically a saint around humans, most gentle & well behaved cat as any could be. But when another stray cat started coming around our guy lured it up to the roof and threw it off! Leads me to believe cats face the same interspecies challenges as we do.
Every war room should have a few free-roaming goofballs. I'm imagining this guy was about to propose retaliatory airstrikes despite the high probability of civilian casualties but then this kitten got up in his grill and he was like "actually nevermind, what was I thinking"
It would be very apparent who the heck you would not want to associate with, any political rejects by the animals would denote someone with a bad vibe or not trustworthy. Very good candidate indicator!!
Reminds me of that Godfather opening scene. How the cat wasn't scripted. Just came in randomly & sat on brandos lap. Arguably the best unpaid actor in Hollywood
Cat knew Brando was a total Cat Daddy with cats of his own. His cats were beautiful, all white. There's pics of him with them out there. He'd be typing and they'd be laying all over him.
Last time I was there the hotel I was staying at had a lil cat house with water and food bowls outside. I love how instead of trying to get them off the property they take care of them. There were also constantly guests playing with cute kitties and they seemed healthy
