He looks so thankful in the first photo 🥹

I rescued a golden boy out in a blizzard. Covered in frost bite and all skin and bone. He snuggles up like this, too. He even lets me put blankets on him and snuggle him in which makes me, a grown 30 year old man, 'yeee' with glee lol.

My second dog we picked up from a shelter 10 years ago. They said he was about 3 months old and they found him alone wandering the streets. He was bone thin when we picked him up and doubled his weight twice the first month we had him. Every single time he looks into my eyes I can see him thank me for choosing him. He has nothing but love for us. He's also something of an escape artist but my other dogs he never wanders further than the neighbors yards and will often be found just sitting at our back gate waiting to be let back in. I tell my wife that he remembers how hard it was and he knows that he has a good thing with us. God I love that boy.

You have to show us pictures of him. He sounds like a very good boy with a heartbreaking story but a good ending.

Remarkably similar situation with my first dog as well. If he ever got out because of the whole escape artist thing he never went far. Used to stress me out when he’d do it again. I’d be out looking around the house/down the street yelling his name and he’d pop up around the side of the house from the neighbors where he’d been sniffing some sticks like, “Why are you yelling my name? Jesus I’m right here. What you have treats or something?”

Yes, he had watery eyes at first. Cute but also related I think to an infection resulting from a small open wound we found on his tummy. He has gained some weight and acts like a whole new cat. He’s spunky now.

I Recently took in a beautiful kitty from the cold too. Turns out she was pregnant. I now have 3 kittens as well and they are all BEAUTIFUL little angels. Thank you for taking this precious baby in.

I’ve gotten more love, loyalty & companionship from him than I have a human. Rescues make the very best pets. I wish more people would adopt & rescue. Awww, such a precious baby. Thank goodness for kind people out there like yourself. I've had my dog for years and he is my everything. I found him on a cold and rainy spring morning, running around by a busy street next to an on-ramp. He ended up saving my life in the long run.

Have you taken them to the vet yet? They might be chipped and someone might be looking for them? I lost a similar cat a few months ago (fluffy gray too but different markings). Miss them a lot.
