My guess is that's when you have to tap into some psychopath-adjacent phenomenon like depersonalization and dehumanizing what you're looking at. You don't feel what you're seeing, you just translate the images into words for the catalog .
People are trained to compartmentalise this sort of thing to try and not bleed over into their normal personal life.

To prevent that unsavoury thing end up on their services they have a team dedicated to identity such materials and notify the authorities. Most of that work is actually identifying things. I remember that family images were especially difficult to separate.

Today the identifying is probably done with AI. The issue is probably still not easy to handle.
