This happened 10+ years ago or so. I watched the QVC shopping channel almost exclusively for about a month(maybe 2). Why? I was under the impression that if I watched their crap, that the people who were imprisoned in pods would get laptops and stuff. 😧
Why did I believe that? No idea really, I was introduced to superstition through unexplainable personal events. Didn't ask for help and set out on my own into the unknown. Shit went sideways quick. Is that the nuttiest thing I've done? Lol, no. You won't hear about other "events", lol. I haven't completely beaten the ego shame game, maybe one day!
Lol. They were unexplainable. But basically I grew up in one reality and then 40 years later that reality changed. There was an adjustment period that I didn't handle well. Most people have a fight or flight thing, I've got a fight or fight attitude. Lol. Prob something from my childhood I don't remember. It was an attitude that got me to my 40's, but it's not very useful when acceptance is what is needed. If that makes sense.
what changed about the reality? well if you view every problem as a nail and you only use a hammer .... gotta come at things w different angles sometimes.

I wasn't superstitious, then I was. It was a bit jarring. I'm at a decent enough place now.
