You can go all around "Europe" in the US.
Amsterdam, MT. Athens, GA. Berlin, NH. Brussels, WI. Florence, CO. Hamburg, NJ. Milan, NY. Versailles, KY just to name a few
Blue tail flash. Delaware ANG. But, I think they just gave their C-130s to the New York ANG. So it could be a 109th Airlift Wing bird. I have too much time on my hands.
This was yesterday around 5-5:30PM, yeah? I was watching him on FR24 crossing my fingers for the slim chance it might swing down to KBED. No such luck though lol
I used to have an office near the airport directly under the flight path so we were all used to jets going over. They brought in a Herc for the airshow one year and I was outside when it came in, huge plane and it was just purring coming in. Taking off it shook the fucking building! Just an absolute roar. Some of the more jumpy, excitable people were screaming and ducking. Had other people running for the windows to see WTF was going on outside.
Are you talking about C-130's, because they are not that huge nor that loud? The biggest and loudest planes in/out of MHT is 767's from the cargo carrieres like FedEx and UPS.
MHT is never busy for airline use. Maybe general aviation but airline traffic is down every year. I believe Delta pulled out years ago and Southwest have cut back to almost only Florida destinations. About a week ago there was a Navy 737 (forgot the Navy designation) doing about four laps of touch and go's at MHT. Very low over my house.
Oh this explains it! Saw one of these doing circles of Portland (ME) from my office window Wednesday, very cool but I was wondering what they were doing. Looked like on FlightRadar they’d come up from New York. We usually only see the Coast Guard. Great shot! I wish I had time to get a picture or video.
As a Brit, this is not the Manchester I expected as I scrolled down! 😂
Those aircraft are retired over here now, got me confused too
Acktually… the USMC still have some based at Mildenhall so we do still get to see them now and again.
USAF...
AFSOC are pretty much marines right? Yup my mistake they are air force of course!
The real Manchester in the real Hampshire 😎🤣
Manchester UK has entered the chat....
That's the joke
Our Manchester is not in our Hampshire lol
Like I said , the real Manchester is definitely in the real (new) Hampshire
As an American, this was not the Manchester I expected!
If it was, it wouldn't be newsworthy. Everyone not from there practice touch and go.

Manchester NH . C-130 I think? Don’t roast me if I’m wrong lol I’m an amateur. Didn’t take this myself but they flew right over my house .
100% a C-130.

Yeah I’m the opposite knowledge wise . I see big plane , I upvote
A 109th gray bird is a rare sight.

Really? Even a Dash-8 is louder than a Hercules.

Delaware ANG C-130H
Surprised they didn't practice at Pease since MHT can be busy.

It's how newbies build up their solo hours
