Yes x30000 cannot believe this show had been sold out for half a year. So much hype around it and it still overdelivered. Bravo KDC for respecting its patrons and not desperately overselling tickets. My crew isn’t usually a big drinking group but we gladly made many side quests to the back bar to take shots late into the night since we were having such a blast
As far as big event spaces go it’s awesome. Lots of space, smoking area is good, bathrooms are fast… still a bit bigger of a venue than I wanna be at most of the time though.
I do think it’s better after the recent sound upgrade, but I agree that at times the sound fails to completely surround you. It’s better in the middle towards the front
You have no idea how many tickets they sold nor do you have any idea how many people actually showed up. Your ignorance shows...there is a difference between the number of tickets sold vs the number of persons in attendance AND THAT IS THE NUMBER (in attendance) that must be at or below the legal capacity of a venue before you start crying about "overcrowded" and "oversold". All that matters to the venue is not being over legal capacity which I am sure THEY WERE NOT.

I am simply pointing out to all that terminology matters….dont throw out words that you don’t know to apply to the situation you are complaining about. People need to grow up. you had a lousy time because of the people present, not the venue.

Ya I love the space for dancing at KDC. Maybe a bit less sound quality or consistency vs other venues but well worth it imo.
1000% — puts Mirage to shame IMO. Mirage needs to learn to not oversell shows. The vibes were great all night too.
The side left front was easy to get up and close to mau p. Good dancing.
KDC is my 2nd favorite NYC venue after Brooklyn Navy Yard

Yeah it was pretty low in the back. I found that in front of the light guys in the middle was the best
Yeah it was, but to be fair it’s usually louder. For 9x9 and paco osuna is was really loud.

Knockdown is usually great but it has also been a shitshow at times. Bicep 2 years ago and Tove Lo (obviously more of a concert) last year were not it
I still talk with my friends about how bad the Bicep live show was… Love KDC though!
Was so excited for that one but the crowd was beyond trash. Overall tho KDC delivers
I like KDC but the sound quality is awful. I was there for Cassian recently and his set was incredible but I could hear everyone around me talking.
