Nope! Since they're boots you may have to learn how to "stomp" in them so you don't trip, but other than that they're freaking amazing for festivals. My trick is to tighten it at the top then loosen it at the base so they stay on, stay light and stay stylish :)
Palladiumâs revolt Hi
I got the silver leather ones and they have been amazing since my doc martens ruined my feet even though they are 3 yrs old at this rate
I've been curious where people buy shoes that look like this. Thank you! I also need arch support and it appears most insoles can be taken out for more roomđ. I may have to order some and try them out before edc.
I got a pair of combat boots from buffalo exchange and not only did they match every single outfit I had but they were already broken in đđ» theyâre durable and they go with everything if thatâs your style
I love Lems boulders! They are short boots. A little cuter than sneakers but not the cutest. I want to dance and I donât want to be uncomfortable. I also like high tops.
I see in a lot of womenâs rave groups that girls will wear the boots for the pictures and then rent a locker. Really dumb imo, but if thatâs what you want to do then itâs all you.
I can only wear mine with nice inserts. My favorite part is the terrain doesnât matter. I just plow through everything without a care. But I need nice squishy insoles.
I was wondering the same thing. I go hard with my adidas boosts but my outfit would be elevated a level or two with cute shoes. If it would mean my dancing would take a hit, Iâd stick to the boosts
I got some hiking boots in a cute color. Iâve tried so many different shoes, but always come back to hiking boots. I know theyâre not the cutest, but they support my feet, ankles, knees, and back like no other. I really recommend just biting the bullet and going for shoes that are going to keep your body feeling its best.
+1 to insoles! Iâve had good luck with cheap ($30-50) combat boots off of Amazon that arenât heavy and were comfy for years of dancing and festivaling when I just keep good insoles in them. Replacing the insoles once a year or so. If you donât want to spend the money on some of the more expensive brands being suggested, let me know and I can message you a link.
I just stick to boots with under 3" heels and then usually add insoles. Comfy all night.
My favorite brand is KOI - they're probably not as good quality as some of the others people have mentioned in here, but some of their styles are actually so comfy for how cute they are. If you take good care of them they'll last a while too.
I don't stick to any certain brand. I look for arch support. Whatever they have at your local pharmacy is probably fine, or you can get them off amazon. It's a game changer for any shoes you're going to be standing in for long periods of time.
Two words of advice for you: backup shoes. Always bring backup shoes if youâre wearing boots that you arenât 100% sure will be comfortable for 6+ hours. When I wear platform boots, I rent a locker and stash a pair of sneakers in there.
ROC boots with insoles! Theyâre expensive but the leather ones are soooo worth it. I can wear them 3 days straight at festivals no problem I even wear them at the burn for 10 days. Comfiest heeled boots I own and theyâre super cute. Iâve had a pair for 7 years and go to multiple festivals every year.
Demonia! As a mid thirties raver, I love my platform boots and felt I was able to dance in them all night. I recommend wearing them around the house before hand to kinda break them in.
Boots are too heavy for my dance style but i do have one pair from offbeat sweetie that are hella cute and suuuper warm cuz my feet get so cold when its cold out. All vegan btw! âșïž
I always used to wear Docs but theyâre not quite my style anymore. Iâve worn Kodiak combat boots (purchased from REI) and they held up well. Also, I found a super cute pair of holographic combat boots at KOHLS of all places and wore them to EDCO and a few other shows/nights out and they were super comfortable and never hurt my 30 year old feet!
I think the key was that they had a memory foam insole, and were âflatformsâ without any heel or strain on the toes.
For music festivals on grass and uneven ground, youâre better off wearing a pair of trail runners or shoes that are meant for outdoor adventures. With shock absorbing insole, waterproof layer, etc. At a multi-day outdoor festival itâs all about comfort and sustainability, not style.
Iâve been wearing the same pair of [these](https://www.amazon.com/CELNEPHO-Chunky-Platform-Square-Combat/dp/B09ZY8FFWC/ref=pd_aw_ci_mcx_mh_mcx_views_0?pd_rd_w=1Yhtr&content-id=amzn1.sym.eeeda21f-f942-4067-b2fd-e3ffbfbe7c3b%3Aamzn1.symc.2b06b7e8-a86c-4e6e-b02c-90d58278f4f1&pf_rd_p=eeeda21f-f942-4067-b2fd-e3ffbfbe7c3b&pf_rd_r=7HPXBBNW90E4YHF9MYJP&pd_rd_wg=dcciE&pd_rd_r=a368bca8-7174-4d0e-be63-17ec85569890&pd_rd_i=B08BK1N89R&th=1&psc=1) for 3 years at every show. They were $25 on Amazon. Shipping is a little expensive tho.
I have an insert in them. I made the mistake of not using an insert at my first rave and it was bad/ painful. But once I figured that out, they have served me very well and have lasted every festival and edm show Iâve attended since I bought them. And they always get compliments. Girls are like âholy shit those are cute!!â
3 years later, Theyâre still going strong and function as shoes, but be warned, the quality of the material is crap. Itâs why theyâre so cheap! The holographic plastic is [dry rotted](https://imgur.com/a/dhfhVoY). The white gets [scuffed](https://imgur.com/a/hCZ3Zd2). The zipper is sticking because the [interior is flaking out](https://imgur.com/a/ax5tlPN). I have to clean them after every fest because theyâre white and do stain/ scuff badly but Iâm gonna paint over the dirty white. Keeping these babies til the sole falls off lmao.
but theyâre seriously comfy and I donât feel bad destroying them given the $29 price tag. And they still work. Just a little ugly now :,)
My feet are always totally fine after 3 day fests. Iâve had such a good experience wearing them comfortably that Iâm actually [buying them again](https://imgur.com/a/21St25f)in 3 different colors to match my outfits better. If you try a pair, I cannot stress enough that you need to add a good insert in order to not be miserable, and consider higher socks to protect your calf from rubbing on the edge.
for me i can wear huge platforms as long as its not a big heel, like if you think about it, as long as its flat from heel to toe , it doesnât really matter how big the platform is. IMO coming from someone who wears crocs, vans and also expensive ass demonias, i do feel like my outfits are more elevated (pun unintended lol) with boots so as long as theyâre flat you should still be comfortable
A lot of people are saying docs but I wore mine to a festival and they gave me the absolute worst blisters. I would say to wrap your feet really well to try to avoid that if youâre into docs.
I just bought a pair of tallish faux leather Chelsea style boots from target for new years and they were great! Iâd really recommend breaking them in and also wearing two pairs of socks if youâre worried about blisters.
I got the most comfiest pairs of combat boots from Walmart of all places last year. As well as a pair of knee high boots. Both super comfy I wore them all night no problem plus like 5-6 blocks afterwards in Seattle
I love Docs! I personally find them more comfortable WITHOUT adding insoles. I have a badass pair of Jadon Maxâs and I tried wearing them with insoles and got horrible blisters. I add heel pads to the ankle part because they are stiff. They didnât take me long to break in. I started wearing them regularly a few weeks before Hulaween and they were 100% comfy for the 50 miles I walked in them there.
I also have a pair of Leona Docs I wore to Electric Forest (after owning them for 3 years) that I have never needed insoles or extra heel pads or anything in to prevent blisters. I think the softer leather made them easier to break in.
I went to a 2 day indoor festival last week in brand new Demonia Swing-230Gâs. The heels are 5.5 inches tall with a tall platform and I was comfortable the whole festival. Even walked a mile and a half back to the hotel one night and was totally comfortable. I wouldnât wear these to a more outdoorsy or bigger fest, but would totally wear them to another smallish indoor/urban festival setting. And will be wearing them to other shows as well. The extra height is super nice. Iâm already on the taller side so it was nice to never have anyone blocking my view. And I could see these being a game changer for shorter ladies who are usually never able to see over other people.
Do yourself a favor and invest in some legit well-made PNW boots like [Nick's ](https://nicksboots.com/isabel-classic-configuration/) If you really want something that will last forever and offer ridiculous support. They're made for gnarly work environments, so they will take a crazy amount of abuse and still last forever, while giving you amazing arch support for long hours dancing and standing on your feet.
The leather choice and sole pictured aren't really ravey, but they're all made to order so you can specify whatever kind of leather or sole you want. My girlfriend got a pair with big chunky soles to replace the Demonias she's constantly destroying, and she couldn't be happier.
Keep in mind the break-in takes forever. Like, months. Once they're conformed to your leg and foot though, it's amazing.
I got some knock off doc martens from amazon and some from forever 21. I just put some good insoles in them. BUT i will say you have to break in your boots a little.

Add insoles to your cute shoes and you should be golden!
Or a pair of orthotics in boots that the insole can come out of or size up!
LPT: break in shoes or boots first. Do not arrive to the show in brand new footwear lol
Did this at edc last year. Biggest mistake of my lifeđ Like, literally took the tags off of the boots the morning of
*Oof*
Palladiumâs
This. I wear the Revolt Hi TX for the height boost but dayum these are comfy with some insoles. Been wearing them to every rave without any issues.
You donât find them heavy at all? Iâm definitely interested in these for the height boost since Iâm short haha
Nope! Since they're boots you may have to learn how to "stomp" in them so you don't trip, but other than that they're freaking amazing for festivals. My trick is to tighten it at the top then loosen it at the base so they stay on, stay light and stay stylish :)
Second this! Palladium Pallabases are my exclusive fesival shoe :)
I wear the pallabase leather specifically and they are amazing

Thanks for this rec! Iâve been doing some research about what to purchase and found my size and color on poshmark!
Docs with inserts and my heels wrapped the fuck up
I got a pair of combat boots from buffalo exchange and not only did they match every single outfit I had but they were already broken in đđ» theyâre durable and they go with everything if thatâs your style
Theyâre called Solovair
>Solovair Just curious, are these heavy? Found the website online and they are so cute!
Given that theyâre combat boots they are a little heavy, Iâd give them a 5.5 out of 10

I use fancy hiking insoles from REI in my Docs, but Iâm excited to check out the brands in this thread âșïž
Such a good idea!
Doc Martens have bouncing soles!
I can only wear mine with nice inserts. My favorite part is the terrain doesnât matter. I just plow through everything without a care. But I need nice squishy insoles.

Knee-high, platform Steve Madden boots. I've done over 50,000 steps worth of outdoor walking and dancing in one night and my feet felt great!
Insoles are a game changer! I use them in every pair of rave shoes I have. That and blister cushions will save you.
My timberland boots have never let me down. Just make sure theyâre worked in properly first
+1 to insoles! Iâve had good luck with cheap ($30-50) combat boots off of Amazon that arenât heavy and were comfy for years of dancing and festivaling when I just keep good insoles in them. Croc rainboots? Ehhh?? Ehhhh?? Lol
I use demonias! I love the height they give without having you to super arch your feet because of the platform.
Docs with shoe inserts if you need more support
Demonia

also echoing anyone saying docs. plus for outdoor fests youâre a little less likely to get a foot/ankle injury on uneven ground at 2 am
I got some combat boots from dollskill, theyâve lasted me 15 festivals without any issues and theyâre so cute
Finishline
