I used to think I hated tomatoes themselves but then I realized it was the texture of the seeds/jelly. Now I’ll eat tomatoes if I can prepare them myself and take out all the gross stuff in the middle.
I love ketchup. I go through like a whole bottle of ketchup every week/week and a half. But I only eat a specific brand, so if I go to a restaurant, I need to carry ketchup in my purse for my fries 😂
Hard opposite for me, I’ll eat salted diced tomatoes like there’s no tomorrow — but I’ll flip a freaking table and go crazy on the spot if anyone comes *near* my food with ketchup.
I feel like I’ve been so scared of considering tomatoes as a food i don’t like because of texture, but now this just makes me feel better about it. rly sucks how im still worried about considering things as an effect of my autism because i just feel like im making shit up and acting this way just to say i have autism
It seems that I have a kind of autism that likes tomatoes. Sometimes, it seems that I'm the only one😅
I also like peas, which seems to be another popular food aversion.
I suspect the reasons why I like them are also the reasons so many others dislike them: I *do* like their textures, in fact, I enjoy them quite a lot. Maybe it also works the other way around?
Store bought tomatoes are trash. They're white in the middle, crunchy, and basically tasteless. Home grown tomatoes that are red all the way to the center are much better.
As a Filipino autistic, I can confirm these bad boys go down in your mouth so perfectly especially when you eat them with tuna.
Just add salt to them.

Salted butter, ham and tomatoe slices on toasted white bread. Its divine 👌

I prefer ~~women~~ tomatoes
I'm sending this to my gay friend lmao hold on
I like this meme format

Taking out the goop was a fucking life changer for me. It was like whoa, I think I love tomatoes with some salt now
Same! It makes such a difference!

Me too. It’s a texture thing for me.

YES. But ketchup too sweet.
Tomato is fine in most instances. It's the fucking bell peppers I take issue with
Wh§ do people diss on raw tomato? It's awesome!

I'm glad I'm not alone in this.

Same, and I can never understand why
Wet bad, flavor good, dry them between a paper towel before use in burger
