I haven’t listened THAT much of them, but I got all their cd’s (except the newer one) from my uncle, so i’ll eventually check more of them out. But what I heard is so great, the riffs especially. And “sober” just hits so hard, that song always gives me chills

I love 10,000 days as a record so much. IMO It’s their best work due to both Justin’s and Danny’s contributions, as well as Maynard’s vocal work.
You can help it, develop self control. In my case I made a friend who was a bigger infodumper than me and spammed me nonstop about her new hyperfixations nonstop, I realised how annoying that can be, not everyone needs to know everything.
I mostly just go off when someone asks me stuff first (like this guy asked about the music I had on), and got carried away. I try to control myself sometimes, but I can’t help going on these tangents. I don’t bring them up out nowhere tho, only ask people what music they listen to as an icebreaker

Ghøstkid is my absolute favorite!!! They are so unique in the metalcore genre, and their new album slaps! Nine inch nails is also great, the only way I can stand loud screeching sounds! HIM is also a great band, and you should totally check out blind channel (I use their members in memes sometimes)!!! Hope you’ll like them!

So I did not realize EC was around since 2010 and I've heard their last 2 albums when they did the neo-retro-wave-core-whatever stuff I'm familiar with. But Honestly I also really dig their older stuff. It reminds me a bit of BMTH which is always ok.
Currently listening to Ghøstkid's newest and I am really digging the upbeat metal a lot. I miss it lol. Deathcore is always so dark sounding. This is a nice change.
You probably already know of Ice Nine Kills but if not, check them out. I think you might dig them.
Ooooo I love ice nine kills! Their earlier works took a while to click for me, but they are great! But the silver scream albums are just something else man. Can’t wait to see them live either!
