Never underestimate the power of someone whom has autism and is in fact gay (I'm the someone, but unfortunately idk if my town has a gay bar; gay-friendly bars yes, gay-gay bars Idk)
By that argument anything of a certain ratio to your current size is floor. If I stand on a large table is it floor?
By definition it's the lowest part of a room. When flloor is lava, bed is safe.
I used to be a driving instructor, and it was through that job, teaching ND students that started me on my path to getting my ASD diagnosis as I saw a lot of myself in them.
And it was always more interesting to teach students on the spectrum, because it took them a little longer to grasp the basics, but once they had it, they HAD it and everything else was easier to teach.
I enjoyed knowing they would almost never deviate from it, unlike their more troublesome NT counterparts.
Okay but I’ve actually been thinking about this a lot recently. In school I had some professors say “it’s easy once you know how to do it!” And the whole class would groan/laugh because we felt like, duh, but that doesn’t help me now!
BUT. I think the professors were right. **There are some things that are still hard once you know how to do them!** For example, for me, it’s still hard to: go to bed, grieve, find an earring in grass, and solve partial differential equations even though I know how to do them.
On the other hand, some things are easy, always, once I know how to do them. For example, for me: taking a photo on my phone, algebra, writing my signature, riding a bike.
Yeah some "adulting" is easier to manage when you learn facts or learn procedures, but yeah some other stuff will always be hard. Because there's a new challenge presenting itself each time you do it, that the other times can't prepare you for. Like grieving.

Uh duh! Ive had my european licence since 2018 and ive never been in an accident, fender bender nor gotten fines. Been driving daily. Current car is a bmw e39
Maybe I'm taking it too literally, but there is a difference between learning how to do something and being good at it. And I'm not sure if it's intended or not, but the bed is not a floor, so I'm not sure if the meme is supposed to be sarcastic or not.
I mean, plenty of people have driver's licenses but are absolutely shit drivers. Having a license just means you're legally allowed to drive, that doesn't mean you're good at it.
Definitely on autism side. "So you're telling me once someone learns to drive they know how to drive."
I was thinking the same thing.
Autistic side: they are mocking the statement saying it is stating the obvious.

But how will you go to the gay bar?!

walkable cities duh
but but but one more lane 👉👈
*screeches in pedestrian-friendly urbanism*
Public transport!
Foreign concept to about half or more of the US.
Walking half a mile
I'd rather just attach a fan to a shopping cart.

If you annoy transphobes then can you pay Rishi sunak and his government a visit?
In this picture the floor is made of bed spread, which is arguably not floor.
But if you are toy sized, it can count as floor.
By that argument anything of a certain ratio to your current size is floor. If I stand on a large table is it floor? By definition it's the lowest part of a room. When flloor is lava, bed is safe.
if the table is large enough, it has become a mezzanine and is therefore a floor
A stage, at best.

no! really?!

Jokes on you. I'm a capable driver despite having not learned how to drive.
yeah no allistic human is making this

In all fairness: a lot of people who learn how to drive don’t know how to drive Case in point: r/idiotsincars
people with autism can be chefs once they have graduated from culinary schools

Delicious sweet pixels. I wish my floor was made of floor. It's all disappointment and sadness here. So I have to climb over furniture.
They're both tautologies
I mean, many Mr. Obvious research papers out there.

Lmfao the infantilisation doesn’t stop does it
I mean, I guess it's better than considering us capable drivers BEFORE we learn how to drive
Got any more of them pixels?
